In the U.S. history, there have been two important events that have taken place. The first one is the bombing of Pearl Harbor, when the Japanese sent bombing planes over and took control of Pearl Harbor. The second is the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan. What I want to know is...which do you think is worse? The fact that THEY came over HERE and destroyed US? Or the fact that WE went over THERE and destroyed THEM? And please include why...thanks very much!

A major flaw with government today is that we have career politicians. When you run for an elected office it should be because you want to change the current state. It seems now a days that people that run for congress and senate run and do nothing and solve nothing. Which brings me to this. Why do people that we elect recieve pensions? Just because they served doesn't mean we should have to pay for them to live well after they are done. What if they did a terrible job? Taxpayers still have to flip the bill for their pension. Thats not right if you ask me. If anyone agrees with me I would love to see what the public thinks, and if it is similar how could you get something like this on a ballot for the general public to vote on, so we could save our country money and cut down on the amount government has to shell out for ex-public servants? suggestions....I would love to hear them.

Someone just answered my last question about whether America should police Islamic countries with:

"The problem has been about 500 years of non stop western meddling & racism in the Middle East."

I dont know how many times I have heard this amazing logic. Lets call it the "leftist bad karma fallacy".

The argument essentially says that based upon 500 years (America's been around half that long...nit picky of me isnt it) of "bad" (whatever that is) foreign policy, Islamist rage rightfully flows. In other words, we are have built bad Karma because, since no human lives 500 years, our bad deeds have nevertheless filled the air with bad spirtuality that later generations righteously tuned into.

First, lets assume that our foreign policy was always bad, or bad enough to outweigh the good (saving Bosinak Muslims, Kuwaities, etc), enough to deserve our fate, as the left declares. If this were all true, would this still even explain Islamic warfare today?

Senator McCain became a member of Yahoo Answers on February 22,2007. He started with 100 points and has answered no questions. He has asked one question. That leaves his balance at 95. He was given one point probably for signing in one time. So he should have 96 points as of right now. Correct me if I am wrong on this. Thank You!
