It's a start. More positive legislation passed in the last two months than in the past 6 years of Republican rule--that's for sure. I'd like to see a more "balls-e" (D) approach towards getting Pro-American legislation passed.
They are doing what they can, and Bush and the Republican's doing exactly what they're told--as usual. "Thank you sir, may I have another" will be their motto leading into 08'.

I saw a poll last week that showed a jump in approval right after this congress was sworn in...and then a decline to the point that they are almost as popular as Bush!
But it has only been a little over a month. In fairness, we need to give them a little more time.
I am not planning on holding my breath however!

Is the country as a whole ever happy with any congress. Half the population will always be pissed and look at each others shortcomings.
