The UN and the Veto Power at Security Council was formed in the last century. While talks are about expanding the Veto Status, do you feel that some of the existing countries are not worth it in the New World Order.

Our car was parked in our driveway with the engine turned off. Sometime during the night a police officer must have noticed that the vehicle lacked a village sticker. The officer left a ticket for no village sticker under the wiper blade. The vehicle had been parked for hours prior to issuance of the ticket, so it wasn't a hot pursuit issue. I didn't think officers could enter onto private property to issue tickets relating to motor vehicle matters. I thought that the officer had to see the vehicle in operation without the sticker on a public street before a citation could be issued and that the ticket had to ssued at the time the violation was observed on the public street. What's the story?

How can people actually respond to someone questioning their government's actions by calling them unpatriotic? The United States was established with the concept of it being a citizen's responsibility (not just their right) of questioning their government. Feel free to disagree with someone else's viewpoint, but don't question their love of their country. If they didn't care, they would not disagree to begin with.

I recentley was involved in an accident after a night drinking at a bar. The bar staff took my keys from me early in the night, but after I became differcult and aggressive they gave them back to me to get me out.

While backing out of the carpark I was briefly distracted and didnt realise the handbrake was off, ended up rolling into a phonebox that was being used at the time, pinning an elderly woman inside for about 6 hours, while I was unconcious at the wheel.

Now the elderly woman is sueing me for mental anguish due to being trapped for so long.

I would like to sue the bar for letting me out of their premises with the keys to my vehicle, fully aware of my high level of intoxication at the time.

Has anyone had a similar case? and if so was it successful?

If some Americans don't support the ideals of what America great (like free enterprize, strong national defense and the fight aganst Radical Islam that is spreading thru Mid east & Africa, proper sentencing for child rapists, Non redistribution of wealth and lower taxes)Then why don't they just move to Europe where they can live as socialist. Because, I'm sick of hearing them whine While I'm stuck here in Europe & all I want to do is come back to the states where people know how to run a business. But, I can't because my husband is working his a$$ off fighting against the spreed of terror. Americans take for granted the things that make America great, so move.

Does GWB have what it takes to not be impeached? This president will go down as one of the worst presidents of all time...of course that's my opinion of the man.

Rudy Giuliani addressed a potentially troublesome issue with conservative voters, saying his policies as mayor to get handguns off the street helped reduce crime in New York.

"I used gun control as mayor," he said at a news conference Saturday during a swing through California. But "I understand the Second Amendment. I understand the right to bear arms."

He said what he did as mayor would have "no effect on hunting".

Sounds like any other mealy-mouthed democratic liberal. Sounds like Hanoi John Kerry, as a matter of fact.

HEY RUDY? The right to keep and bear arms has NOTHING to do with hunting. Okay? Jeez!

Why don't we just kick this b*stard out of the Republican Party?

Many people have tried to argue - some probably best buy employees - that stores have a right to go through your bags as you exit.

They cannot. Verify with your local police department and ask them.

If police need proper cause to search your belongings, then what makes anyone think a store clerk can violate your right.
Its a deterent, they do it because people allow them to. Its completely volunterily on your part.

But no store, no employee for any storecan attempt to detain you -- without making themself liable against lawsuit for illegal search, and illegal detaining you should you walk out and they try to prevent you from leaving.

Anyone tries to argue that, tell me what police department you called and what officer, so I can prove you wrong.

Just wanted to know if anyone knew their rights?

YOU AGREE WITH ME THAT ALL OF US HAVE A GREAT REGARD FOR OUR PRESIDENT DR.A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM. PREPARING AN ELECTION MANIFESTO,GOING TO THE PEOPLE ,FACING ELECTIONS ,FORMING THE GOVERNMENT ETC ARE THE PREROGATIVES OF THE PRIME MINISTER BACKED BY HIS PARTY AND THE PM IS TO BE LAUDED FOR THE ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE LAPSES IF ANY.
BUT,THE PRESIDENT IS A CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY, ONLY TO STEP IN TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE GOVERNMENT IN CASE OF ANY UNFORSEEN CRISES AND THEREFORE PRESIDENT CALLING HIS GOVERNMENT MAY NOT BE RIGHT.
KINDLY CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.

This is the 2nd year I received the "republican party census document" which asks questions such as: "Should Republicans renew the Balanced Budget Amendment" which reminds me that we have a $8,752,478,768,342 deficit NOW when, before BUSH, we had a SURPLUS. And "If Dems try to gut the Patriot Act & other laws that promote safety of Americans, should Republicans fight back?" Which makes me think of how I must obtain a new ID to enter my courthouse, be scanned mercilessly to enter the Federal Bldg, & wonder: HOW are we safer now that people like ME are being so incredibly inconvenienced when we have never been a threat? Why didn't the census ask me important questions rather than insult my intelligence & question my faith ever further in the party. Whose idea was this census? Why were they allowed to send it out TWO years in a row? I want to know so I can suggest they be FIRED-they're doing more harm than good! Look up the census to read the questions and other's reactions-none are good!
