I agree 100%.
It has always amazed me that the most undemocratic organization in the world claims to be there to protect and defend democracy.
There should not be only 5 permanent countries in the UN with veto power... the ones you listed. This structure should be done away with and ALL countries in the UN should have equal voting power.

No, the core nations that are on the UN Security Council and that have Veto powers are also the world's leading military powers. Why shouldn't these nations have a say about what happens around the world.
However; with that said I think that majority voting should be established and the veto power done away with. It's a cold war relic made to prevent any nation from garnering a 'bloc' of power - those same alliances don't exist any longer. The power dynamics of the West and especially that of Russia - China no longer have greatly changed.

The President has veto power over rules handed by potential of the Congress (domicile and Senate). meaning the bill can't substitute into regulation through fact the President has Vetoed it, rejected it. It then returns to the domicile or Senate (everywhere the bill originated). If the two the Senate and domicile can convey mutually 2-thirds of each physique to nevertheless approve the regulation, then the President's veto is overridden, and it will become regulation. it fairly is all portion of the equipment of tests and balances in our shape the place each and all of the three branches of government has a examine on the different. The veto power must be removed from the Security Council voting because the superpowers are using it in their favor more often than not.
