How can people actually respond to someone questioning their government's actions by calling them unpatriotic? The United States was established with the concept of it being a citizen's responsibility (not just their right) of questioning their government. Feel free to disagree with someone else's viewpoint, but don't question their love of their country. If they didn't care, they would not disagree to begin with.

It is one thing to disagree, it is one thing to question, but it's another thing entirely to spew a lot of hate speech towards the president, disagree with him or not. Some of the things peple post on here are so hate filled, slanderous and ridiculous that it is unbelievable that people would not only believe it, but be willing to post it.. Some other's only want to bash America and everything American every chance they get, and I'm not talking about those from other countries, I'm talking about American's themselves. They have no clue just how good they have it here.

One has to be discerning in how they approach evaluation of a problem. Those who do not want to continue the war for instance usually have an ulterior motif; IE, don't want to go in the army. As far as I know there is no draft, or is one indicated. Others are so called peace advocates; they also hate George Bush, and would like to discredit him at every opportunity. My opinion is there are more people who hate George Bush, and not the war, but it feels good to bash Bush.

It is better to fight the el caeda somewhere else, than here. The things to look forward to if the el caeda win are: discrimination towards women, no freedom of speech or of ideas, indiscriminate killing of ordinary citizens, beheading of those who don;t agree with the ruling muslims, no sexual exploitation, women must wear the burka and can not leave their home without a male escort, sensorship of events and entertainment, elimination of all religions except for muslim. The terrorists have lots of time; they have paralized Europe with fear, they are fighting in many parts of the world. Their goal is to perpetuate their religion, and force everyone to join it or take the consequences. Apathy will allow the muslims to defeat us, and you now know the rest.

Free speech is a special commodity which we can use, but diplomacy does not work with the muslims. Take Lebanon for instance; the terrorist are now trying to overthrow the standing governorment. They love it when the US puts out propaganda against the war; what happens is that they just blow up more cars or worst and kill innocent civilians. It is hard to believe that a religion that is advertised as one of love and peace, and they are killing other muslims. Lots of love and peace????? Make your own decision but remember the terrorists are ruthless, and their goal is to kill all infidels (us) and innocent muslims to make us sorry it is happening so we will pull out. The present rhetoric only makes it tougher on our troups, and that should not happen. Our aim should be to win this war, a premise that Democrats do not seem to agree; it is more important to bash Bush that to protect our country.

I think it's unpatriotic for John Kerry to go over seas and tell others that our military is evil, And then come home and say he supports them to us. I think it's unpatriotic for people and especially politicans to publically belittle our commander in cheif Calling him Hitler like. I think it's unpatriotic for some in congress to say that Bush lied to them about going into war with Iraq when at the time that they gave their vote to him said they did their own research on the matter and agreed with the president that it is in the best interest of the free world that Saddam be made to follow the U.N. resolutions or be taken out of power. As one solder told me to say "I support the troops but not the war" is a slap in their face. It's like saying Hillary is on a mission to become president although I support Hillary 100% I do not support her mission. Kind of doesn't make sense when put in that context now does it. From what I see of the liberals that head the Democrat party they are invested in defeat on the war on terror. They don't think it's real or they hate Bush so much that they will do anything to make him look bad no matter the consiqueses to our country. Besides a lot of them are the same ones who had us cut and run from Nam which caused 100's of thousands to die needlessly after we left. But liberals don't live in reality their idiology is fantasy Island and can be accomplished only if we become a 3rd world country. Give them all our money in taxes so they can make everyone equally dependent on them and equally miserable but that won't last long after we cut and run from the middle east and let the terrorists gain enough strenghth and weapons to attack us here at home. Then lets see Hillary try and hold hands with the leader of Iran and sing we are the world...I guess in their world I am being unpatriotic.

People get brainwashed, and start repeating things that they originally didn't believe, but they persuade themselves it is true.

Make no mistake about it: red states are predominantly religious for a reason.
