Our federal agency is looking to cut spending wherever possible. One thing they’re looking at is moving two of our offices from their current locations to areas that have a much lower “locality pay”. If this happens, is there anything the employees can do to fight the 10% or so pay cut they will be taking by being forced to move to another location?

a few months ago, my neighbors across the street back into my car. They bent up three panels and the door wouldn't open. (i don't know how they did it, because my car is bright yellow, and always there) It was almost $2,000 of damage! My family is mexican, but we are all legal here, but the people who hit my car are illegal mexicans. i called the cops after it happened, but no one showed up, so i called again. When they finally got there, they went and talked to the people (and had to speak spanish), who agreed to pay for all the damage. The cops said that they trusted him and wasn't going to write anything up. I was mad at that, and made them write a notice thing. The guy paid me $500, and said that he could get the car fixed for that, and wasn't giving us any more money. We took him to court, but he never showed up, and now it seems like nothing is going to happen. How is it fair, that an illegal person, with no license or insurance, backed into my car and doesn't have to fix it?

He has 3 warrants he has no money to pay for over $6000 all are for Speeding and traffic stuff that he never took care of because he didn't have any money. Some are improper registration and stuff like that. They arrest him and let him go, they want the money.
They have suspended his license for 5 years. He can't afford an Attorney. He has a two year old and 1 on the way. It has gone on so much now He has no means to take care of it.
He has jobs on and off but has no transportation to work.
I don't want to enable him by bailing him out, is there anything I can do?

I was watching the news about the 3rd teenager to be shot, and apparantly there are "gangs" of teens who carry guns and knives.
I'm from County Durham, am a teen and NEVER heard of anything like this before.
How can they want "respect"? How can they be able to get guns?
I was amazed at this and the previous incidents and wondered what your thoughts were?
Thanks

Rampant fornication has caused so many problems to our society-it DOESN'T stay between two "consenting" adults; it's caused STD epidemics and tons of broken and unstable families with crime ensuing which have been a burden on society even for those who weren't involved in the "consenting" act. Face it- fornication affects more than those just involved. Condoms haven't fixed these problems. Want to cure AIDS and restabalize families? Grow up and demonstrate some self-control, stop screwing out of wedlock, and when you get married get your tubes tied. It's that simple.

Although it would be hard to reinforce this, it doesn't mean it isn't idea not worth being open too. Different doesn't mean bad.

I am absolutly certian our military can accomplish any mission assigned to it, unfortunately, it doesn't appear anyone, the media, general population or leadership have a clear mission in the Middle East. Please, no opinon or religious bigotry, I am not concerned with Arab or Israeli political agenda, my only concern is American lives being lost or ruined by what appears to be theivery of oil.

Mr. Bush tells the American people that "the surest way to avoid attacks on our own people is to engage the enemy where he lives and plans." However, the plain fact is that in the decade before the invasion and occupation of Iraq by the American military, Iraqis were responsible for precisely zero killings of Americans. Now, since the beginning of Bush's war in Iraq, Iraqis have killed thousands of Americans. Is this what Bush calls "the surest way to avoid attacks on our own people?
