I am absolutly certian our military can accomplish any mission assigned to it, unfortunately, it doesn't appear anyone, the media, general population or leadership have a clear mission in the Middle East. Please, no opinon or religious bigotry, I am not concerned with Arab or Israeli political agenda, my only concern is American lives being lost or ruined by what appears to be theivery of oil.

a victory in the middle east for bush would be...not getting himself impeached.
beyond that, he has no problem saddling the next president with the problem he created.

victory in middle east = elimination of major terrorist cells that pose greatest risk to the U.S. and its allies; setting up a stable and efficient government in iraq; defeating the insurgents plagueing iraq, and preventing weapons, drugs, and money being funneled to and by terrorists.
