Is it "patriotic" to attack and exploit other nations for their resources? The USA has bombed 50 countries since WW II. Should we prepare ourselves by becoming self-sufficient ? Are we able to indentitfy who the real enemy is ? Once identified, how will we be able to route them out ?

Everybody knows that conservative Republicans are stupid and immoral. Almost everything they advocate is harmful for society. Why is it so? What makes them so evil and disgusting? They are always against equality (for blacks, immigrants, gays, tec.), they are against protecting the environment, they are for usless wars that kill thousands of innovcent people...

I hope that in the future there will be no conservatives, no Christian right, no Republicans. Instead, we can have liberal and moderate wings of the Democratic Party. Wouldn't that be great?

2 years ago I moved from China to the USA. We may have more freedom in USA, but China has people so much nicer. Yes, there are limits of children and everything, but I don't care! People are so mean here! And, I just started middle school, too, just to make it worst!

To all of you who want to raise the minimum wage, don't.

I live in Washington, where the minimum wage is the highest in the country. It also has one of the best economies in the country.

If you raise the minimum wage, then Washington won't be able to maintain its economic power. I don't want to see all those states with a lower minimum wage start to get the economic success that Washington has.

the parents therapist (the one being accused of abuse) as a young girl and they had a semi personal relationship?

In this case the therapist ignored numerous cries of the child once she found out the mother with whom she treated for years for sexual abuse as a child turned out to be the one accused of sexually abusing her son. The therapist had written letters to CPS and Law Enforcement stating that the child was fearful of his mother and suffered greatly from anxiety and ADD as a result of the abuse. The mother had changed her last name so the therapist did not find out who the mother was until later after which she changed her opinion. Are there any laws that would prevent this woman from being this childs court ordered therapist, given the situation?

I'm not asking this from a feminist viewpoint, but a curious one. And please, only real answers. No sexist B.S. I just want to know if people think the United States is in a place where it can accept a female president (should she become leader of the Democrats and then win). The same question could be asked if the candidate was of ethnic minority.

Why do celebrities come here to ask political questions, generally asking us all to do more? How come they don't back up to where the problem lies, like UNICEF and the corruption in the UN?

I will try to ask this as respectfully as possible. If this is the wrong forum for this question, please let me know and I will withdraw it.

I am the next of kin of a deceased US Navy retiree. Without giving unecessary details, I was told recently by a family member that he had been imprisoned while in the military and had been demoted. I am trying to research if this information is accurate, but as of yet have not been able to attain the records. From the information I do have (enlistment, re-enlistment and discharge records), it appears as though he received the ranking of BM3 in 1952, then again was given a ranking of BM3 in 1959. I have no record of him having any other ranking until 3 years later when he received a rank of BM2 and then retired as a BM1 after 20 years of service. On all of his re-enlistment records his character of service was honorable.

What is the liklihood that one would retain the ranking of BM3 for 10 years without demotion?

Thank you for your time

When the USA bombs ...it is GOOD...we use good bombs because the USA is always right, and always the GOOD GUYS.

Of course when someone bombs the USA ...they are EVIL TERRORISTS...bad guys and should be tracked down like dogs

Count the bombs , count the wars, count the bodies..after you do an honest count you will realize the USA is the most evil nation in HISTORY. But ..most americans are brainwashed anyway...they will never figure it out.....who are we KILLING today?
