Yes. You should have seen the bias flying from the right a couple of days ago. Women aren't aggressive enough, women are weak, women are too liberal, what if they had to make a decision during that time of the month, etc.... Pitiful people, but they clearly exist.

I understand what you mean by this but, my answer refers more to the Democratic Parties Numerous Candidates. People will vote for Hilary, Obama, Richardson and Edwards and thats the problem, each Candidate has their own strengths, Hilary will recieve the Feminine Vote, Obama will recieve the Black/Minority Vote, Richardson will recieve the Hispanic Vote and Edwards will have the middle of the line vote but, they're all pulling from the same pot, especially if your into party politics and even voter loyalty...if you look at the Republican Side you only see 2 Major Candidates who can split the Ticket and win Giuliani and McCain...So the answer is not that she wont get votes its just theres to many people and not enough votes to go around...

Given the fact that there are more hillljacks in this country, than logical thinkers. I think the majority will point to no!
But, on what gladiator is posted, there is a lot of controversy surrounding the Clinton and the Bush family. After much research, signs point to the fact that she will win. Not because of popular vote but because of loopholes. If she does, I mean when she does, she will attack the second ammendment which would render the whole country in the government's control. (since bush has nullified the of the ammendments. don't argue that, he has, quote, in the name of "terrorism".)
Something bad is happening, pass it on because the world needs to know. Especially when your leader cares more about personal investment, than the lives of over 3,000 soldiers.

There seems to still be a fairly good number of people who only will vote for white anglo-saxon males. A lot of them are in what is called the NASCAR crowd. I don't know any of those NASCAR people so I can't attest to that as a fact. I have some friends that have indicated that they wouldn't vote for a female president, some of those are female frends. I believe the next 22 months are going to be very ineresting and probably historic. Generally, however I believe most Americans wouldn't have a problem voting for a female president as long as she is the right person for the job. Gender and race are only a problem if one is unsure of their own status or belief system.

I hope not,but Hillary is so UN-American I would not vote for her.She and "Hanoi Jane "are on the same team. She and Billy hated the military, and she would be the first to pull the financing out from under the brave men & women who serve in our military. I served a long time ago and I volunteered and glad that I served my country.Where was Bill, in Canada? All this BS about voting for and then changing her mind again. That's like betting on a horse and changing your bet as you see the winning horse three lenghts ahead near the finish..lol
I would also vote for a ethnic minority ,but I do vote independently and not any one party ,like the politicans want us too.For I believe I am not a sheep.

I think being a woman is only part of the reason that people won't vote for Hillary, some will be for that reason. I think the biggest obstacle to Hillary becoming president is there is so much misinformation about her. You will see it in these answers, there is so much hate for her. Rush Limbaugh always devotes a segment of his program to spread the hate and lies about both Clinton's that is where most of the hate started from, it is passed on from one conservative to another and before it reaches public level it is way blown out of proportion. This is a shame because she really is a strong, very intelligent woman, that is very capable of being president. I do think there are many people that see through this hate campaign, like myself that has research and have been to here web sight and posted comments. The thing that I like about Hillary most is she is not afraid to stand up for what is right.

Yes, but I think even more people would vote FOR her just because she's a woman. Same for an ethnic minority candidate.

Some will no doubt. Others will not vote for her because she's hillery fuking clinton!! She's the Third Incarnation of the Anti-Christ! Nostradamus predicted her coming. Think about that for a while. See if you come to the same conclusion.

I would accept a woman as president of the U.S., but Hillary Clinton has shown her self to be a liar and a flip flopper on some really major issues and I can't see any thing to be gained from making her president.

Yes, I do think that both men & women, especially married women who listen to their husbands, could vote against her/not for her.
I happen to think that a woman could do a great job of running this country. I also think that a minority could do a great job.
I vote for what I think of the quality of the person. I happen to think that both Clinton & Obama have great qualities.
I'm not sure that America is ready to make a change & break with tradition of electing a male, white President.
