First the AP wire services tell the public that the French President had met with UN and US leaders saying that Iran 'CAN NOT HAVE NUKE plants or weapons. Then they reported his embarrassment and he had retracted that statement.

What do you believe is behind that retraction? Because he's undediced or because maybe Iran leaders paid him to retract that statement made so many times? Keep in mind that France opposed the war in Iraq. Is he up to something? What do you feel his issue may be and why?

I wish I would have not brought children into this world. They are at the mercy of insane leadership that will use them to murder other people's children in foreign lands.

To my children I say "Daddy is sorry. I am sorry for bringing you into the pain of this world."

A website has taken my family's information and put pages up about each one of us with basic information. It's not harmful, but it feels intrusive and we don't feel comfortable having our information on a website with which we have no relationship or connection. I asked the webmaster two months ago to take it down. They said they would that very week. It has been up for two months. I emailed them two weeks ago to see when they were actually going to take it down and they've neglected to respond to me. Someone told me that we can't do anything about this, but that doesn't seem fair. If someone, for example, makes a website endorsing Hitler and out of nowhere, smack dab in the middle of a page, has written out your name and information, that is not fair. What can be done about this?

Our neighor keeps parking on our property. Technically, we think it may be partly her yard, but she consistantly parks with the rear end of her car in our driveway. We don't exactly have a friendly history... how can we get this to stop without starting a "neighbor war"???

Also, if she gets nasty, can we legally have it towed?

Afghanistan continues to be a money pit.

The policy behind Afghanistan shares the same false premise as that behind Iraq, which is the idea that Islam is not the problem, but instead, Muslims are merely the constant coincidental victims of despots and "illegitmate regimes".

Funny thing is, the more you learn about Islam and Islamic communities, the more you realize that their governments represent the moderate part of the larger "radical" populus on which it sits.

Its a chicken and egg dilemma that we seem too stupid to understand. Its Islam that produces the failure and despotism characteristic of Islamic countries.

So instead of using our strength, which is massive bombing, we adopt this insane morality that bestows the duty of deity upon us. Its our "duty" to rebuild the whole f*** place. Its our "duty" to surgically distinguish innocent from islamists, as if there were such a distinction or we had the endless godlike resources to pursue such a policy.

Pure madness

I dont like the Republican's stance on many things ranging from religion, war, minimum wage, and education, but what I do like, and the only reason why I would vote for McCain is immigration.
Democrats are not too keen for legalizing the millions of potential democrats, why? Who cares really. As long as Republicans plan to do so, I'll vote for them.

When Bill Clinton ran for president, the Left liked to remind us that "military service is irrelevant". Of course, all that changed for 2004 when John Kerry stated he was "reporting for duty". His Vietnam service was touted a qualifying factor for the job of Commander-in-Chief.

Now that Hillary and Obama are the frontrunners for the Left, are we back to "military service is irrelevant"? Or does what they said about Kerry still apply?
