It was obviously a racial slur, and an idiotic one at that. He apologized publicly today. It probably won't help his presidential hopes.

If he said he was "clean" than that must be what he meant. Are we trying to deny the guy the right to an opinion?
Everyone does not have to like the same person. If Biden thinks that Obama is something different, is there supposed to be a law that prevents him from thinking that way?
Come on folks, are we talking about some religious icon who is so high that we cannot find fault with him? If you feel that way, the next time you see Obama, fall on your knees and kiss his feet.

Biden in the past has made remarks which have the appearance of racism. No one can truly know what Biden was thinking when he said it. I have learned to take the comments at face value and forget it.

Oh good grief, he meant clean-cut, if this sort of picky-picky nonsense won't stop we will have 95% of the people in the world in rehab. Now that we can 'gotcha' on cell phones and tape, we will see lots more of these trumped up 'insults'. On all side, and with just as much validity. Even Obama wasn't insulted, he handled it like a gentleman.

Come now - grow up and see the double talk of politicians.
Jesse Jackson understood what Senator Biden meant.... "It was a gaffe. It was not an intentional racial pejorative statement," Jackson told NBC News. "It could be interpreted that way. But it's not what he meant."
So be as forgiving as Jesse and let it die. Until a Republican says something equally as stupid , then would have to be on propose and never forgotten.

Biden said he meant to say 'fresh.' But no amount of backpedaling is going to make him look like any less of an idiot.

All blacks should be offended by this comment. Let's not give him a free pass on this one like we gave to Hillary.

It was a stupid, insinuating comment, but nonetheless, he'll get a free pass from his liberal cohorts.
What do you think would have happened if a REPUBLICAN would have uttered such idiocy...?
