Our neighor keeps parking on our property. Technically, we think it may be partly her yard, but she consistantly parks with the rear end of her car in our driveway. We don't exactly have a friendly history... how can we get this to stop without starting a "neighbor war"???

Also, if she gets nasty, can we legally have it towed?

Most city ordinances prohibit the public from parking or obstructing a private driveway (unless the property owner permits it). Have the car towed next time she obstructs your driveway. I bet she doesn't do it again.

I had a similar problem with people driving in my front yard, so I got some old railroad ties and put all the way around my front and side yard. Or you could try throwing some roofing tack where she parks.

Try and be diplomatic about this and explain to her the problem, and tell her not to do this anymore. If she refuses, call the police, and get a report on this incident for future reference. If this continues to happen, then have her towed away.
