I can see it happening VERY soon, ladies and gentlemen.
ESPECIALLY with the recent raid done by american/iraqi soldiers on the Iran operatives.
This is gonna escalate, it'll end up being WW3, gurantee it.
And it's probably going to be fought here in america, radical islamists among us are probably planning crap, lock your doors, bar your windows, I'm getting my 20 gauge ready.

what are your thoughts about mandatory death sentence for people who are caught distributing drugs in singnapore? Recently there was a execution of 21 year old name Iwuchukwu Amara Tochi from Nigeria....Look up his name on google and read about his story because its truely sad. I think that this is just ignorance and govt not wanting to face the real issues of society. Just because you kill someone for doing something doesnt mean that its going to stop. I believe they need to address this issue in a differnt matter because this is very inhumane and all i see is retalilation and no justice so i wanna know what people think about this.

What, if anything, do you think would happen? Let's suppose that we confirmed that on the planet Mars, or whatever planet fits your coozy, that in fact we found another species of animal. Two legged or four-legged.......doesn't matter. What would the religious fanatics do?? And would it change the U.S. / or rest of the world thinking that we are not alone. Would it change politics into a new world order with a theme of 'manifest destiny'? A new battle, to explore more and faster than others. A new way of thinking........What if we found another earth?? Who could populate it, and could you deny someone the right to live there? If you think about it........A religion could have an entire planet to itself. Eventually that would die out b/c people will inherently do what they want no matter the cost............what's your take on any of this?? Please don't respond if your dumb enough to believe that evolution never happened..........I just want an interesting conservation.....

I woke up today and noticed the news regarding President Bush's warning to Iran. I searched everywhere else to investigate how Iran is getting involved in Iraq. I knew there were Iranians in Iraq. They've been there for years, since the beginning of the war. However, we have been capturing many Iranians and obtaining intell from them, gathering DNA and conducting retinal scans on them for future identific. They have been traced to members of the IRG and the Quds Force. If Iran is not arming their bloodsworn enemies, the Sunni insurgents, and if any Shiite group they are assisting is an integral part of the “sovereign” Iraqi government backed by the Bush Administration, then what on earth can be the purpose of a direct presidential order to the troops to kill Iranians in Iraq? I am looking for an objective and honest answer, not hateful or disliking of the President (I'm sure I'll get them though). It's too easy to be angry. I want something with legitimacy.

That is the perhaps one of the best political ideas I have ever heard. Canadians have more in common with Americans than any other people in the world. The benefits with Mexico joining though are less appealing without some kind of immigration controls. It would benefit us more to help Mexico develop their economy more along North American line in services instead of being heavily dependent on energy and manufaturing. I would favor letting no more than Mexicans in than 1% fo the US population/year and encourage them to move more to places other than Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.

Perhaps a new flag would be completely blue with 3 white stars ( example: http://tinyurl.com/yukz47
Or a standard USA flag with a maple leaf inside the blue box instead of those stars.

In other words, is choice more important than life?

In the penal system, one’s choices are taken away before one’s life. It seems to me that life itself is more important than one’s ability to make choices.

Why do pro-choicer's reverse this hierarchy?

This country never went to war without one before Korea. This country never lost a war, or left one unfinished before Korea. The Constitution says that Congress has the right to declare war. Would a declaration of war unite everyone behind the cause and prevent backsliding by the politicians?
Secondly, do you think that the war powers act is unconstitutional?

I ask, with respect for all answerers - I mean no offence. But coming from a country that doesn't legally allow gun ownership, I would like to understand why it is so important for the US to continue to allow private gun ownership. I know - 2nd ammendment. But aside from that...why do you feel that it is so important to own a gun? Again, I know - criminals have them. But do two wrongs make a right?

I'm truly hoping to have a clearer understanding of the American mindset when it comes to guns....thank you, in advance, for your answers...

Most popular candidates:
British Columbia
Puerto Rico
Alberta
Cuba
Israel and Palestine (two stars for peace movement)
UK
Guyana
Colombia
Ireland
Parts of Mexico (baja california)
chile

What do you believe will be the 51st state?

i believe Washington DC will rejoin Maryland instead of becoming a state. And Alberta will eventaully leave Canada (since Ottawa has bullied it for so long) and perhaps form its own nation or join USA as a commonwealth or state.

Can it be that our democratic views will kill us in the end? By trying so hard to be politically correct on every world issue, I think we may be destined to fall not unlike the Romans.

Todays thinking:
It's o.k. to do whatever you desire...everything can be solved by giving in to popular demand.....other countries problems are not our problems....we live in our own little world and whatever happens in other places won't effect us.....etc.
