Yup.... it happened to my wife... actually 3 times. Her belly just got bigger and bigger and then the doctors had to intervene. They cut the mellon open... it turned out not to be a watermellon at all... it was these alien looking things with big eyes and skin covered with white stuff, but really cute, so we kept them and now they grew bigger and they crawl on top of our heads all day and fight and keep us from sleeping at night... The nurse sez they waz some creature called kidz.

The biggest reasons this wouldn't happen is because the seed would pass through your system to quick, also the acids in your stomache wouldn't dissolve the seed, that is why seeds always pass through your body whole and intact, but the stomache acid would prevent the seed from growing and the stomache acid would dissolve the plant itself.

lol you've brought back memories! Someone told me that when I was a kid and I believed it for a while (adults don't lie--right?).
In reality, your insides aren't a very good place for a young plant: too dark, wrong temperature for germination and too many chemicals like bile which is acidic.
