Or how about a movie director?

Do these mediums do the act of war justice?

I'm reading a book right now called "Beasts of No Nation" that deals with a child being forced into fighting in a civil war .

Do you think that a non-soldier can write a book about what goes through a little boy's mind if he is forced to fight in a war, especially if this author has never experienced war himself?

With their non-stop whining about his affair with Monica, about White Water... If they just would let it go, Bill would fade into the sunset, but nooo...

I guess by harping on Bill they feel that they diflect from the real source of the problem in this country, or at least from what 72% of the country believes is our problem.

I've been thinking about joining the marines as an officer. I did some research and came across a program called PLC. The program allows college students to attended a 10 week boot camp, according to several websites, signing up for PLC does not obligate a person to the military. Has anyone done PLC, and decided to not except a commission? What is PLC like? Can I really sign up for PLC without committing to the marines?

Miminum wage is huge topic of debate these days. Instead of raising minimum wage with the theoretic possiblity of hurting small business, instate a welfare program/job placement program that guarentees if you work a forty hour week and are constantly employed you recieve a much larger welfare. All this of course without rasiing taxes or government spending (maybe with funds that are currently being used to fight a war after its done.)

I had taken the car to the garage for repairs. The car was stolen, stripped, stuck in a mud hole and set on fire (presumably to hide the stripping that occurred). A police report was filed. Is the owner or his insurance responsible for reimbursement/replacement of the vehicle? Or am I just out a car with no recourse available to me?

I am in a very interesting predicament. I go to school in North Carolina, where I got a DWI when I was under 21. I was convicted, and the judge gave me normal limited driving privileges. However, since I blew above a .08, the NC DMV came back and said that what the judge gave me was void because I was under 21. Apparently they punish younger people more than older people in NC.

As of now, Florida has my license listed as Valid and there is no DUI on my record that I purchased form a company in Florida (4 months after my conviction in North Carolina).

Is there any way I can attain driving privileges (to school, work) in North Carolina? What are my privileges in Florida at this moment?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

...There were a few tense moments, however, including an encounter involving Joshua Sparling, 25, who was on crutches and who said he was a corporal with the 82nd Airborne Division and lost his right leg below the knee in Ramadi, Iraq. Mr. Sparling spoke at a smaller rally held earlier in the day at the United States Navy Memorial, and voiced his support for the administration’s policies in Iraq.

Later, as antiwar protesters passed where he and his group were standing, words were exchanged and one of the antiwar protestors spit at the ground near Mr. Sparling; he spit back.

Capitol police made the antiwar protestors walk farther away from the counterprotesters.

“These are not Americans as far as I’m concerned,” Mr. Sparling said.
