I hope you are not expecting me to say, yea...good reason.... let's launch an Air strike on Iranian targets....
The U.S.A is already struggling in Iraq. It is paying a heavy price there. The anti Iraq war mentality is growing among the Americans. I don't think the U.S government is ready to go war with Iran.
What can you do about Iran's weapons sales to the insurgents? Nothing. American weapons being sold to some nations are the daily cause of the death of hundreds of Innocent children and women in many part of the world. These nations are in the list of human rights watch for crime against humanity and genocide.I will say in Africa, Sri lanka are good example... and don't forget who supplied with weapons to Iran and militarized the middle east region a few years ago. It is the Americans.

What can we do?
Our military ground force is busy in Iraq and can't project power to Iran. We can't start a new war before the last one isn't over yet.
Launch air strikes on Iranian soil? But what if they start making it look like we're killing civilians instead of military targets? That's it for the US.
If nothing else, going into Iraq was a bad call because now we can't deal with Iran properly.

Well since Iran is also selling weapons & giving other aid to the Iraqi National Government this very serious matter gets even more complicated. Don't you think? Oh & the Iranian & Iraqi Govts. are both controled by Shiites who also control Hezbollah.

This sort of thing happens frequently and in a way, it is understandable given the bloated size of our government. Thankfully, someone either noticed or had it pointed out to him and is doing something.
"WASHINGTON - A Democratic senator wants to cut off all
Pentagon sales of surplus F-14 parts, saying the military's marketing of the spares "defies common sense" in light of their importance to
Iran.
Sen. Ron Wyden (news, bio, voting record)'s bill came in response to an investigation by The Associated Press that found weaknesses in surplus-sale security that allowed buyers for countries including Iran and China to surreptitiously obtain sensitive U.S. military equipment including Tomcat parts."
To Sen Wyden, I say good job!
Many times, countries have "clean" buyers do their bidding for them so as not to be connected to sales of this sort.

The United States needs other countries to join us and help. I think we should use our stealth airplanes to find them and destroy their weapons.
