I am looking to buy a secondary weapon for a friend graduating the police academy and was wondering what is the best/most reliable revolver for a police officer.

I have seen soldiers in some countries do it with their index fingers by the brow but palms facing the other soldier or index on brow and pinky facing the other soldier... Why are there two different types? Do they each mean something?

I was once told that if your country lost a war then you do the one with the palm facing the other soldier... That sounds dumb to me so what is the real reason?

My children Sam and Josh are both infatuated with Hitler. i told him that he killed millions of innocent people but still they love him. i could see where there coming from because he was a murderer yes but he was also a genius that took on the whole world for a few years. not many people can say they did that. so i think ill let my children still love Hitler since they know and understand what he did was wrong. any ideas of if this is wrong or not ?

cops are trying get me with theft by deception and what what will i be charged with in pennsylvania? the total of the item was 650.00 and am totally innocent, i know some will say get an attorney i have one. and other questions i have is if i write a statement and was not read my rights can they bring that statement up in court? and are they alowed to question a person harshly in front of a child when the child had no involvement?

i got into trouble with the police on the weekend ( public urination and failing to follow a police order / direction)
i havent received a summons to court , but its early days yet.
what i am wondering is if convicted, warned, fined or whatever will that give me a criminal record? i dont think it will because its not a big deal like theft or assault or anything, but im kinda worried coz if a get a criminal record i won't be able to get a passport

What kind of help can a father get who has 2 children. By two different mothers when it comes to child support. The courts has made it to where this father has to pay out 2000.00 a month in child support. He makes aound 19.00 an hour but after the taxes are taken out and the child support he doesn't have money to pay his bills. He doesn't have much a car payment, insurance, rent, electric, Food. He's layed off for the winter and that is his payments they will go up higher than this once he gets called back to work. This is what he has to pay on the unemployment which isn't even close to 19.00 per hour. Can anyone give me some ideas for assistance. Right now he feels he has about 3 options. Go to Jail, Give his rights up to his children, or Suicide. I need help for this person whose lost and needing answers.

He's talked to the courts and disputed it. He showed proof of his income and they still based this on several thousand more dollars a year that he doesn't make.

and I have no idea how this blowhard ever got elected to anything. Bush haters no comparisons because I am not interested. This is not the time or place for Bush bashing. Can you imagine John Kerry and his dipship wife running this country? Yuck. My question is how did this guy ever get in the Senate and does anybody think he has a chance of being president? I am a Republican and like Al Gore 100 times more than Kerry because I think he is a real human being even though I do not like him.

I mean, almost with missionary zeal the western developed world preach democracy in under-developed and developing countries. It often doesn't work there because of many factors -- illiteracy, domination of a corrupt wealthy class who simply manipulate electons, etc. Sometimes benign dctatorship is the answer or military rule is the answer, however reprehensible it may seem (due to western hype). What do you all think?

Some people "answered" my question earlier, I guess, but what can one person or a small group do to stop this? Yes, you are right! 700 tons is too much to carry! It has to be hauled in and by the time you get it to the enemy, they've high tailed it to Dearborn ,Michigan. (Some "Bunker Buster" right?) Yes, it is 700 tons. Look it up on line. I just want to know, how can we stop this madness? I am not a "Chicken Little" as one person rudely commented. The govt. told westerners in Utah, Idaho, Arizona and Nevada (et. al.) that nuclear tests were safe 40 and 50 years ago and there is a whole generation of men who cannot father children here in the west. There were children that looked like monsters at birth, women with thyroid problems that could only come from radioactive poisoning, people who died from unusual illnesses that only result from nuclear bombs. I was reading an article about Hillary voting against a large federal boost for the grain-based fuel to reduce our need for foreign oil in the Washington Post. Now seems , she is in favor of it since she is in Iowa. I can understand it wasn't an issue to her when she voted against it - as there are no ethanol plants in New York. But why not look at the bigger national picture?

Would ethanol be a vision in the future or is it a delusion just to make people believe our nation is looking for alteratives?

im sorry i need to be more specific, my friend got arrested on saturday on a bench warrant, because he dident show up on his court day. thats what he saids then this morring he got let out with out a bail only with his word that he shows up to court. is this posible? but what if he was chagre with 5 feloneys will they stell let him out on his word only.
