I'm pretty Liberal, i don't spit on anyone an respect the military, and i won't participate in any sort of march against the war, unless it gets much worse than it is now...I think it is very ignorant of people on this site to assume I'm un-American simply for being Liberal...it means i have an open mind, unlike many that put people like me down....
Anyway, this week a 24 year old Minnesota Marine killed himself after being home for a few months....he was having physiologic trouble and contacted the military health agency and asked to be admitted, five days after being told he was being put on the list and could expect admittance in a couple months,,,he killed himself.....there is a lot wrong with a system that does not support its troops before, during and after service....it isn't the Liberals' fault that this happened and I'm sure 99% of every Liberal that hears of it will be saddened some....the Liberal did not cut benefits to military health, I can recall Bush cutting funds last year...so who's spitting on whom

Whether they are vets are not probably won't be the defining factor of whether they will be homeless. We as a country should be ashamed that with the amount of wealth we have, we cannot house everyone. However, I notice the contempt in your posting and can't help but think you know nothing of our military men and have never served. Pretty close??

Shame on the people and government of this country for letting that happen. Whether one supports the war or not none of us should allow people who support our country by putting their lives up for us ever spend one day homeless.

I thnk a bunch of homeless will claim to be vets, but that won't mean they will be. Nice to see you have such a low opinion of the military that you believe they aren't able to make it in life.
Of course I am a vet myself, I think they will do just fine myself because I have faith in our troops.
