and I have no idea how this blowhard ever got elected to anything. Bush haters no comparisons because I am not interested. This is not the time or place for Bush bashing. Can you imagine John Kerry and his dipship wife running this country? Yuck. My question is how did this guy ever get in the Senate and does anybody think he has a chance of being president? I am a Republican and like Al Gore 100 times more than Kerry because I think he is a real human being even though I do not like him.

No. He's out. Massachusetts has a history of electing out of touch Democrats. Dukakas, Teddy Kennedy and Kerry are all from Mass.

John Kerry wouldn't run if he was the only candidate in a one person town after his mangling of his image.

While everyone is raving about Obama and Hillary one must not be too careful about underestimating a centrist Dem like Bill Richardson. He, with the right personas involved (Joe Liebermand as a case in point) will draw a far bigger Dem crowd than either Hillarity or Obama. Bear in mind and much to the chagrin of the Left, it was the Middle American vote that defeated them the last time. After Hillary and Obama both lost to John Edwards in the Iowa polls, it is safe to say they have a LONG way to go before even the centrist Dems feel confident they can win.

However the press is magically spinning Hillary as the next best thing since sliced bread. Their mutual butt kissing festival is a tiresome throwback to the Billbo days when the press gushed every time he said something arcane and nonsensical.

Now that the left is weighing in and already declaring the Republicans dead, bear in mind the Mayor's Numbers are stronger than any Dem candidates and he has a far greater ability to cross and poach party voters from the Dems than either Hillary or Obama. It will be interesting and the city of NY will be hard pressed to not place their second most favorite mayor behind La Guardia in power.

No he's not running this time. During an almost tearful speech a few days back he anounced he won't be running for president! We can all breathe a great sigh of relief. Although I will miss his always putting his foot in his mouth when he opens it speeches. lol Where Kerry is a calculating cold blooded politician Al Gore is just a crazy man. Just give Al an iceburg and a camera and he's happy.

No, I think he is too busy right now over in Switzerland preaching his usual anti-American rhetoric about how America is an international pariah.
I don't know how he has been elected either, or why he was his partys choice to run for president last time either. He did say he would not be running this time though, thankfully.

He announced he's not running but Hillary and that Barak(sp?) guy are. I don't think either one really has much of a chance thank goodness. Hillary already ran the white house for 8 yrs, she doesn't need another term and I hope our country is sane enough not to allow her back in. I love my country and I'm proud of it, where we came from, what we represent, but under extreme conditions, Canada is right across the boarder.

He's not running. But if you are a republican you should be sad because you'd have a much better chance in 2008 if he was running. You gotta think strategerlikelly about this stuff.

Most democrats are glad he's not running either, but for slightly different reasons -- we'd prefer to win next time.

Kerry has sponsored and co-sponsored some valuable legislation.

I would not say he is horrible.

But!

That does not necessarily mean he is cut out to be president either. I'm a great teacher but I'd make a poor county superintendent. :-)

Kerry is very smart but he unfortunately has a bad habit of sticking his foot in his mouth.

No he dropped out, and thank God too; the Democrats don't need a horrible candidate like Kerry.

He said he wouldn't, but the fact that he's been hanging on for so long indicates that he probably says, "President Kerry reporting for duty!" in the mirror when he shaves in the morning.

As for Hil the Pill....do we dislike our troops that much that we'd make her commander-in-chief?????? (and ? x 1,000,000 added to that....)
