There was also another girl who was let go, who is deaf. No one else in her office was fired, and her boss told her that "they felt that the Doctor's assistants could do her job much faster, cheaper, and better" than what my mother could. Does she have a good case for an age discrimination lawsuit? Also, she was being paid $3.00 more per hour than anyone else in the company, and this year she would have been fully-vested. It's just amusing, especially since they fired my mom who's 56, and they fired a 30 year-old deaf employee on the same day. It seems to me that they were just "cleaning up the garbage" in the company.... Oh, she works in Shawnee Mission, KS so anything with the law would have to pretain to the Kansas laws. Need help!! Thanks!!

Pick a state where we can test your theory. Maybe California. We will legalize all drugs in that state. After 2 years we will evaluate the results and determine wether this is the direction America wants to go. They will no longer get back Federal tax dollars. The drug tax money you people keep touting should be enough to make up for the tax dollars lost and then some! You can use the tax money off of all drugs sold in the state for any programs you want. Anyone transporting drugs out of your state gets the death penalty. No questions, no matter the amount. Anyone selling to or allowing anyone under 21 to use drugs will receive 10 years minimum sentence. Could you live with this? Could you obey the ground rules? How long before California turned into s cesspool?

I've had a discussion recently with a college friend of mine that is going back to Iraq. He totally supports the mission and is behind the President, however his family, specifically his mother and sister, are not. He is concerned that, God forbid, if something should happen to him that they might try a Cindy Sheehan type thing and humiliate him once he is gone. He clearly doesnt see eye to eye with his family on the war, so would it be appropriate to tell them not to join the anti-war movement and use his name with it if something happens? Or would that be asking someone to compromise their morals? Also, if you were in the situation of the family, would you grant the request of a service member if they didnt want to be part of this anti-war political movement?

I was reading some news articles, and noticed that when the reporters write about the war in Iraq, they always spell Marine with a capital M. Shouldnt they capitalize the S in soldier? If they dont, isnt that disrespectful to the Army who's doing the majority of the fighting in Iraq?

he divorced my sister in law and abandoned her and their adopted son. What the hell? He was set up by his sister (my other sister in law) and the mail brides sister who is already here married to a 60 year old man and is an apparant gold digger. My brother in law started talking to the woman in Taiwain by phone and internet in September, when he ended it with his wife. He had been in New Orleans since Katrina and had not financially supported is wife or son, with rare visits home during 2006. He divorced his wife in December, afer he returned from a 2 week trip to Taiwain which he brought this woman back. He said he had to buy her a roundtrip ticket because of her 30 day visa. Now he has up and married her this past weekend in Louisiana by a JP against all wishes of his family. He has made statements that she will get her work visa in 6 months and become a citizen in 2 years. But he has hepitits C and does have a good prognosis and has cirrosis of the liver. How is this legal?
