Now that we are starting to realize that our "war on drugs" has been pretty unsuccful at keeping people from doing them do you think that legalization of all or some drugs with government control is a good idea.

9/11 reminded us all for awhile, but it has since been put in the backs of many peoples minds. We all need to realize that all this hating and profiling isn't worth it because we are all going to die someday. Instaed of worrying about everyone else, lets just put our differences aside and work together for a better tomorrow for our children. Otherwise, whats the point of life?

As a deterent it is supposed to deter first strike action by 'others'. If 'others' opted for first strike action firstly there would be no one to react and even if there was there would be no point. The Uk would be a nuclear wasteland, if you lived you wouldn't want to live here let alone invade the place after such an event. We are an island the first line of defence is the sea, which should be protected by a conventional naval fleet. As for the threat from within, nuclear deterent isn't going to solve that either. Sorry about the rant but it was the easiest way to get my point accross.

Many people were saying that bush would have been screaming it from the rooftops..have you guys ever thought that maybe he was trying to keep the info somewhat concealed? Instead of having all the terrorists hear and then grab their shovels to go find some WMDs? Then the other thing was that people were saying IRAQ never intended to use them on us, that is true, but the point is that if terrorists got their hands on them...not good.
So I don't know what else to tell you all, belief or disbelief is your decision.

If you know what "racism" actually means, you will agree that both of these are, in fact, racism. But why is it OK to be racist only if you are racist to the majority?

I strive every day to be colorblind. But how is hiring someone just because they are black being colorblind? You should hire the most qualified worker, regardless of race, sex, or nationality.

Marriage Belarus or Russian?

I met a girl who lives in Russia although she is from Belarus .. Now she is living in Russia illegally just for work… I am an American citizen and would like to visit her …for marriage purposes should I visit her in Russia or Belarus where she is from?... so that I can say to immigration that I actually did see her ?... id rather meet in Russia since there is more to do there…however I don’t thin I can tell immigration that we met up there since she is not supposed to be there . And please don’t tell me about the dangers of marring a Russian girl I have heard this before ….. there’s always a risk in marriage the way I look at it …. To me it seems meaningless bickering over the iraq war and all american politics. Everyone knows that China will dominate the future. They will have an economy, manpower (population) and technology unlike any other in history. And to top it all off, communism works over there because it's in chinese culture to help the community, not the individual. That means if there ever was another war in the future it would be between the us and china. Should we start learning chinese?

Is there a reason that we are called to view this inane retreat into medieval theology as anything more than a waste of resources at the behest of insane people ?

Am I the only person who views these people as threats to civilization?

Evangelical Christians believe in magic (sure, you can call it God's grace and blah blah blah, but at the end of the day, there is no difference between a Baptist faith-healer and a Bantu witch-doctor). These people's ideology is predicated on the world going up in flames in a whopper-bang out war called Armageddon....

So then, why should these people be allowed to vote? Why shouldn't we put them in death-ca...err...I mean happy-camps where they can all be with one another in a safe, controlled environment where they pose no threat to the rest of the civilized world?

Before someone suggests that that isn't how we do it in America, might I point out exhibit A: Japanese internment during WWII.

So....why not?

since when are illegal mexicans compared to legal immigrants? and this crap about the land being "stolen" from native americans, first of all, taking over other lands is a part of history and of life. its been done for thousands of years all over the world, quit the guilt trip, america isnt alone in it. second, the natives had a right to defend themselves, many either didnt, or they couldnt. now mexicans are invading, and they have the natural right to do so. but america has the right to defend itself, and its the left trying to deny that right, by accusing anti-illegals of being "racist" against a *nation*, which obviously doesnt even make sense. shame on america for going the way of the romans.
