dont forget, gerry studds, who was defended by his fellow democrats, and allowed to maintain his job after having a sexual relationship with a 17 year old page.
So, according to democrats:
Have sex with 17 year old page= OK
Talk dirty to 17 year old page onine= NOT OK
However, it is clear that neither of the two is tollerated by the GOP, as Foley was asked (forced) to resign

Great example, but judging a party by one idiot is wrong. It is no better than the democrat's targeting of Foley. Of course you didn't say anything about Democrat's in general so im not referring to you, im referring to the Democrat's labeling Foley as a spokesperson for the Republican party.

well, the real question is, did all of the democrats know and allow it to persist for years? that was what was really awesome about foley... you guys were keeping him as a pet!
incidentally, the answer is no. and gerry studds' affair had happened 10 years previous to the discovery. the page came forward and said it was no one's business. a little different from a drunken collapse outside the dorm.
and our very own newt gingrich tabled the motion asking for their expulsion. because of course, republican sexual hijinks are not treasonous?

Don't forget Gary Studds from Mass. He had actual sex with a 17 year old page boy, and when he was found out, took his little boyfriend up to a podium and told us all to mind our own business. There is no bottom to the well of hypocrisy that defines the liberal. Boo!

Since there is no evidence that Foley is a pedophile (18 yr old is not a child either by law or biology), the answer has to be YES!!!!!
