Almost certainly. He looks like he has been president twice as long as he has. Condi Rice also looks a lot older. If you look at old photographs of Abe Lincoln from when he was first president, and just after the war, the difference is stunning.

Additional: I think a mild case of insanity is a prerequisite for running for any goverment office. Anyone who would actually want that kind of responsibility is obviously insane.

This is how it is with all presidents. Once they step out of office, they look like they aged quite a bit. i remember towards the end of Bill Clinton's second term, He had numerous bags under his eyes. The President's job is very stressful and it's 24 hours a day for 4-8 years. The nation's best interests is in the hands of the President. All I know is that I couldn't do it. Bravo for all the men who love this country so much that they would be willing to take on that job. God bless America.

Without a doubt, the stresses of that office have aged him. If you look back over the course of the presidents who have been in office in your lifetime - look at pics before, during and after their term and you will invariably notice a distinct aging. Each president has his own set of circumstances, but none of them get off easy. And by the way, the first ladies age accordingly if you take a look.

He's not much older than me actually. I think he's under tremendous stress because of Iraq. Most people are very much against the war & the Democrats will take advantage

Just being President. Look at Clinton at the start and end of his 8 years. I'm surprised anyone would want the job these days.

The stress of being the president alone would age anyone.

I agree. I think the stress of a war must be difficult on any President, especially when there are so many haters out there.
