We still have speeders.
We still have killers.
We still have pedophiles.
We still have robbers.
And we still enforce laws agains them. Do you see where this is going?
In one way it makes sense but only if the drugs are completely unregulated and subsidized until a quart of pure heroin cost a quarter. Think about it, the morticians get rich, the herd gets thinned, the crime goes down, welfare goes down, homelessness goes down, etc. Then in a couple of years the demand would go to near zero. I just can't see anything between what we have and what I suggested that would work at all. Seems to me like any half way cure would end up giving us the worst of both worlds.

Pot would be the only one that should be legalized. The others are too destructive. We could make some good money legalizing it. A lot more people smoke it than you'd think. I know people that don't drink because of family alcoholism but they will smoke to have fun or relax.

It's been tried. They get much more out of it being illegal. They get to seize everything you own so why would they legalize it. And yes I do support legalizing it. A war that has lasted for four decades is definitely a losing battle.

The ONLY drug I'd say should be legalized is marijuana. The rest are far too addicting and too destructive to even try to regulate.

Yes, I support the legalization of pot. But regulated.
I wouldn't want my doctor or denstist to be high while operating or pulling a tooth.
