Why do you think the US insisted a "Total Surrender" by Germany?

If Saddan Hussein would have offered a treaty at the beggining of the Iraq war do you think Bush would have accepted it? Why?

I've got news for you, George....we have already failed. Actually, not us, not America, but you. Your incompetence in executing the war, refusing to listen to anyone including the American people, and lying about the reasons for the war have gotten you, Cheney, our soldiers, and the Iraqi people in the mess that is Iraq.
As for winning at all costs....there were people involved with the Vietnam war that spouted the same rhetoric. "Oh no, if we pull out it will be the end of the world!". But the sky didn't fall after all. And we don't need another Chicken little. We need to bring our people home. And if the Iraqis insist on killing each other.....so be it.

i had a GF was Brazilian she got mad and went back in the mean time she was pregenant had the baby and i signed and sealed all documents according to brazilian law birthcertificate etc will i have a problem filing for us citizenship for my daughter since i wasnt and cant prove i was in brazil but my GF was here illegaly and help would be appreciated

In the United States House of Representatives and the United States Sentate, do you believe that bipartisanship is actually going to happen where both Democrats and Republicans will agree with each other? Why or why not?

I do not see bipartisanship actually happening because the relationship between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party is like the relationship between Boston Red Sox Fans (Democrats) and New York Yankee Fans (Republicans) because both fans are not fond of each other.

My boyfriend was involved in a car accident last year, it wasn't his fault. He almost died because his car was rear-ended by a pick up truck, then his car enden up on the opposite lane and that's when a semi truck hit him. he couldn't get back to work right away because of his injuries, so his job let him go after 2 months. He still couldn't walk and he still had a cast on the left leg. His job said that according to their policy, an employee can only be off from work for 2 months. I keep telling him to file a lawsuit against his former employer because it wasn't his fault, and he was going back to work anyway after 10 weeks (2 1/2 months). He just needed an extra 2 weeks to get the cast remove, but his boss said no. We think they did that because they hired somebody else w/ a lower salary. What do you think? Did his former employer break any type of "Labor Law"? Thanks!

i am doing this social studies debate and i have the one that is "the death penalty is against the 8th ammendment" dont criticize me cuz i didnt pick the topic or the side i am on. I asked this in science and mathematics, but obviously no one there can answer it. So I decided I'd try to ask those who think they know everything! I actually need this for a poll, but I don't need to explain all that riff raff.
Here's the question!

Would you consider theory a science? Read details?

I just got in a short lived debate with my one psych professor and a student.

We were talking about how there are a good amount of scientists who think psychology is not a form of science.

Well psychology easily argues with this theory by saying... We use the scientific method.
So now you have the history.

My debate would be theory is a science because
A: Theory is greatly used in the hypothosis stage of the scientific method
B: Theory is the hypothosis stage of the scientific method... Meaning theory is in the process of being proven.

So how would theory not fit as a science?

My Dad's inmigration case is still pending still after 4 years BCIS has fingerprinted him already 6 times whats the next step?what happens when someone has very thin fingerprints that cannot give a clear print for inmigration officials to use? I am endlessly interested in people's opinion on this topic. So, please give me an answer. (I am 120% pro-choice, but understand the views of those who disagree) In my opinion, it was men who spurned the idea that abortion shouldn't be sanctioned by law.
