Since the Majority is against it,...including even the Republicans!
I guess the Title 'Commander in Chief" is synonomus with the title "Derr Fuhrer" !
eh?

It appears that the only ones that are for it is a small percentage of Republicans, a small percentage of Iraqis and Al Qaeda.

Im military and i will say his surge is too little too late. He denied there was a need for more troops since the war began-now out of the blue he is for it, and 20,000 more really isnt gonna make much of a difference when it comes down to it. There is no sense for us to be bogged down in Iraq. Had we went in with a minimum of 300,000 (probably more) and kept it at that level i am willing to bet things would have been much different. Also, allowing the militias (such as Al Sadrs army) to exist was a mistake as well. They are in bed with the insurgents we are fighting.
This thing can still work. We can still win this war. But at the rate we are going its gonna take a lot longer and alot more boots on the ground than i think most Americans, including republicans are going to be willing to accept.

Since I have had 4 uncles in the Army, two in Viet Nam, a nephew in Irag, and 2 to 3 ancestors in all wars since the United States was formed I feel I have a responsibility to answer. The Commander in Chief does not flow with the polls. He must weigh all options. Its easy for us to sit and make remarks, we are not responsible. I make not like the troop surge, but I will not second guess his decisions. Last time I knew, Congress was not the "Commander in Chief".... If President Bush thinks the troop surge will end the war sooner, I am for it. He has set time limits now. He has my prayers.

That's exactly right. Bush is a liar and most Americans want this stupid war to end. We've already done enough damage.
IMPEACH BUSH!
