I doubt anyone on here has the expertise to answer that for you. You really need to speak to someone from the US Department of Immigration, and a lawyer if you can too. It's possible that by obtaining custody of your child it would make it easier to have her recognized as a US citizen, but you are going to have difficulty with all of this given your girlfriend is in Brazil, you're in the US and she has the baby with her.
I think your best option is to try and patch things up with your girlfriend. Whatever she was mad about, it was probably exacerbated by the stress of pregnancy and all the extra hormones. She's probably calmed down quite a bit now. If you can patch things up, this whole question becomes a non-issue. Either go over there or pay for her to come here and try and see if you can make a family out of this mess.

I can see how you will have some problems, but it should work out in the end. Make sure you are truthful about your gf entering the U.S. illegally during the time of conception. Children of U.S. citizens are citizens, but you need to prove it.

Help with what? What is your question, specifically?
If you daughter was born in Brazil to a native of Brazil, what would make you think she would be a citizen of the United States?
People come from Mexico have their children here to make them citizens, remember? It;s where, not who.

I'm Brazilian and I live here in USA,but anyways this will be very difficult for you to resolve, you might need a lawyer and prey to find her in Brazil because she can hide your kid and you will never get to see it.So best you can do is find a good lawer..Boa Sorte!!!

I do not know but your child SHOULD be a citizen of the U.S if you are a citizen. It is crazy to say she shouldn't be.
