I am a independent a little more on the republican side and I was doing some research on the new democratic hopeful who has really impressed me when I found some information regarding is muslum backround? According to this he had a family member who is known to be Wassabi! The group of muslims who are pushing jihad on industrial America! Dont get me wrong, I have no problem with muslims and I know that all muslims are not terrorists but it doesnt mean I am ready to elect one to run our country especially when this democratic muslim had a family member who is a part of radical islam! Does this have any truth at all or am I completely mistaken?

I am majoring in paralegal studies and in my law & ethics class i have to do a research paper. I want to do it on serial killers but i am unsure of how to tie it into the class itself. I am very much into criminal law and would like that to be shown somewhere in the paper. If anyone has any good ideas please throw them at me or email me. Thanks!!

I am a US American born citizen!

This is my opinion, and my right to express my feelings. I really get upset by the slashings given to President Bush.

1. He was elected to do the job. I might not agree with all things, but he is the President.

2. You, as a citizen, have the right to object to his work.

3. But you should support his decisions. Please open your minds to facts, not mis-informed judgemental people.

4. Our troops are fighting a war against terrorism, so you may continue to have the freedoms you have. Especially of free speech. Even words against the President of the US to people like me.

I encourage you to express your thoughts and answers to this, and I would appreciate if you would keep it clean and decent.

My love for our country is great!

So please answer if you will.
Carefully listen to our President tonight and listen to what he has to say before attacking/appreciating my statement?

I heard on the radio this morning that the mayor of Brazoria (I think) wants to trample on the rights of his constituents. What's next, making it a crime to deny the holocaust? My question is: Should we ban words because someone is offended?

Note: I tried to write the word out, but Yahoo has already banned the word (and I fully support their right as a private entity to do so).

I just heard on CNN that the plan is for US troops and Iraqi police and army to be stationed together in neighborhoods in Baghdad, and that the troops will be under an Iraqi commander.

Why aren't the rightwingers screaming about this plan to put US troops under the command of IRAQI OFFICERS?

Are you KIDDING ME?????!!!!!

I live in the south and we don't have a voice in the primaries, because the other states pick and choose who they want and when we get a chance to vote, it's just who ever is left on the ticket, because most of them have dropped out of the race.
I know in several primaries i have decided on who i want to vote for, but when it's our turn, that person is no longer on the ballot.
my deal is if the primaries are right, than why don't they do the general elections the same way. I think it's just part of an old system, before modern communications were available and they needed to do it that way, in order for the candidates to reach all the people
