I am a independent a little more on the republican side and I was doing some research on the new democratic hopeful who has really impressed me when I found some information regarding is muslum backround? According to this he had a family member who is known to be Wassabi! The group of muslims who are pushing jihad on industrial America! Dont get me wrong, I have no problem with muslims and I know that all muslims are not terrorists but it doesnt mean I am ready to elect one to run our country especially when this democratic muslim had a family member who is a part of radical islam! Does this have any truth at all or am I completely mistaken?

You are radically mistaken and reading web postings is not the way to educate yourself about someone. Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and went to Singapore as a young boy. He was never a student in a Wassabi school and by the time he was an early teen he was back in the US. He is a Liberal Democrat by voting record. His life experiences are radically different than the drones we have elected over and over again and if he was elected there would probably be a turn toward socialism more than a turn towards radical religion. The right wing has buried America in affairs outside the US, and is squandering our armed forces and tax dollars in a quest to take over the world. I would appreciate a person in office who would take the middle ground in world affairs and have the interests of the American public first.

And the smears begin..this has been decredited but don't expect the stories to disappear-it's the #1 urban legend on Snopes.com. He did go to a Muslim. CNN did an investigative story. He did go to secular Muslim school for a couple years when he was quite small, but it is a complete lie to call it radical or Wassabi!

Wassabi's are mostly in Saudi Arabia, but I don't think they're main stream anywhere except in their own villages.

I don't think you can link them to Obama, since he's an American (and Baptist, I think). Guilt by association is hard to justify.

To answer your question, I don't think he's ready for the presidency. He's not experienced enough. He's a junior senator and has no discernable administrative experience, no federal level experience, no foreign policy or military experience, and so in the oval office he would be pretty much a professor, not a president.

Ron Paul Ron Paul gets his 13-25 % from regularly independents, what number of human beings have you ever heard say something yet obama? If Ron Paul gets the gop nomination theres a number of people who will vote for him merely because of the fact he's honesty and because he's no longer Obama. I vote for him because of the fact it extremely is vote i could be pleased with. whilst i'm on my death mattress i'm going to be proud to appreciate I voted for a sturdy man or woman, a truthful man or woman and somebody that would consistently guard the shape and liberty.

Barrack Hussein Obama (yes, that is his actual middle name!): Votes ultra liberal. Even supported a bill that would allow abortions up to the ninth month. Was educated for four years at muslim camp in Indonesia. Has admitted to cocaine usage up to the age of 22. Has only been a US senator for two years. Served breifly as a state senator before that. All in all, no real experiece in this man. Don't worry about him, he threatened Maureen Dowd for teasing him about his big ears, and will no way be able to handle the Clinton attack machine. Stay Republican, my boy!

He is cute, charsmatic and very very LIBERAL. That's about all I know.

Of course, I really don't know the REAL Hillary Clinton either, nor do I know that much about Pres. Bush.

There are a handful of true Statesman which I truly trust, admire and respect but oh so few.

*shrug* Dig far enough back into my family tree and you'll find a few Klan members, a murdering bootlegger, and a prohibitionist harpy who set a few saloons on fire. You can't hold someone responsible for the actions of their relatives. We all have a few wingnuts in our family tree. If it's true or not, I really don't care as long as his actions show he's not of the same mindset.

I think he could lead this country better than any other candidate. The radical islam theory is ridiculous and has been disproven. I know he stands by what he believes, he was against the war from the beginning, and I would actually be proud of our country if he became president.
