Honestly, what's wrong with letting Mexicans live and work in the US?

If it was easy to get a work visa there wouldn't be any illegals and they would all end up paying income tax.

In 6 years, Bush has exploded the U.S. Federal Deficit by approximately $2 Trillion. For the sake of simplifying the math, he's been in office for approximately 2000 days now (6 years x 365 days a year). That comes out to Bush's deficit spending equalling approximately $1 BILLION a day (more, if you consider all the vacation time he's taken). Can even the most liberal of spenders even comprehend this drunken spending spree our beloved King George has been on?

The news broadcasts will say that a certain number of troops were killed on a given day. A young man from my area recieved injuries while in combat in Iraq. He was air-lifted to a hospital in Germany where he succumbed to his injuries two weeks later. Is his death counted as a causality in the Iraqi War?

So...there are the following to consider:

1) Hundred year old trees and a stadium are knocked down by hurricane force winds....
2) Same storm ravages Alberta and Sask. with wicked temps and loads of snow...
3) Manitoba gets 35 mc of snow
4) Ice storms followed by mild temps, followed by more ice storms in Ontario and Quebec.
5) Hurricane force winds and storms in East, and still as a result of the same system (for those who don't know...that shouldn't happen....almost never happens..) (Seriously..a hurricane force storm travelling a continent....DOESN"T HAPPEN!!)
6) 40 people die in Germany due to storms.
7) Snow in texas???

Where is your fallacy that is it fictional now???

When I see these protestors against the Iraq war I wonder if they really know what's going on? With the war on terror we've liberated 50 million people in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Iraqi people have had three free elections, they have done in their country in nine months what it took our country seven years to do during its'founding and that is to have a constituition written by duly elected representatives and voted on by the people and formed a democratically elected government.

I leave for Navy boot camp in two days. My hair is right at shoulder length, it's long enough for a low ponytail but not a higher ponytail or a decent bun. I'm debating wether or not I should cut it to above my collar or leave it. What do you think would bw more logical? I'd like answers from women of the military, please.

If it helps you: My hair is very thick and dry.

In the rest of the world, red represents left-wing politics, socialism, communism in its most extreme. Blue represents conservative, capitalism, self-reliance, right-wing politics.
In the US it seems reversed, the red states voted right-wing, the blue states voted left-wing.

Why are people saying that one should not questions the polititians motives. I say we should. Everyone has motives for doing and saying things.
A human, being such a troubled and mean animal is plaged with selfish motives.

what if some guy became enraged at your girlfriend/ wife and you were not sure if he would hit her or not? What if he called her a slut? What if there was no witnesses? what if there was witnesses? what if the witnesses were his friends? And let's suppose you had a job where the public would frown on offenses such as assault for someone in your position such as a doctor, care for the elderly, child care, etc. You could even possible lose your job.
Keep in mind: You can be found guilty of assault and sent to jail if you fight. Also, verbally starting something usually ends up in physical fighting with these types of people.

What would you do in these different scenarios?
