Honestly, what's wrong with letting Mexicans live and work in the US?
If it was easy to get a work visa there wouldn't be any illegals and they would all end up paying income tax.

We do, there is a legal process. Some choose to do it, others choose to break the law. Why should we welcome people that choose to step in front of lines and break laws? Oh wait, I understand, more law breaking, Neo-Lib Democrats.

Part of the problem is that the ilegal Mexicans don't usually do their income taxes and they are supposedly taking jobs away from Americans. Unfortunately there are some ilegals who come to this country to sell drugs, murder people or whatever. And that's what the anti-immigrant people are focusing on. But the jobs that the Mexicans are doing are jobs that most Americans would not/could not do. The Mexicans I've seen here working work harder than anyone I've seen. I personally wish there was a way to let them come to our country to let them work, well an easier way.

Why?? There are tons of economical and social reasons. For one the USA is a sovereign nation as Mexico is. Thats why there are borders. Some mexicans think coming over here is a way of taking back what use to be there's. The ex pres. of mexico encouraged ppl to come here illegally. Population control. We have laws. and no matter where you are from or for what reasons you want to come here, people need abide by them.

For the time been...is not enough work to go around and provide a good living for the USA citiozens & Legal residents in USA...( do not forget 30% of the Industry that use to be in USA mooved overseas). Another point: does the Mexican Goverment allows USA citizens or residends to work and live freely in MEXICO?...of course not they have to pass through the ringer to get a work and permenant residency permits. The USA Goverment , and the USA citizens does not have the legal and moral obligations...to provide to the Mexican population ...good Jobs and better living in USA. The corupt Mexican Goverment Goverment has the Legal and Moral obligation to provide..better income ...and better living conditions for their Mexican Population... in Mexico .Now if the Mexican population sees that their Goverment does n't do what supose to do..to protect their population, with better income and better living conditions plus plan the future of their future generations...I think if the Mexican people are smart enough...the time came to get them out of the Goverment offices...and install or replace all these corupt members of their Goverment... with individuals that they will care about their fellow Mexicans...so they will not have to run and seek better life in USA...Plus I have news for you 25% of the populations of the whole South AMERICA...now is living in Mexico....waiting for the chance and the opportunity to enter illegal in USA...seeking a better life. Are we responssible too to provide them with good Jobs and better life in USA?....I dop n't think so.

No disrespect to all the honest working Mexicans but there are a lot of drug and gun trafficing going on within Mexico. If America lets down the gates we would open up ourselves to a huge crime wave.

The government is playing into the fears of many white Americans. Many Americans fear not of the economic problems, but of cultural differences and a fear of demographic change to a minority-majority society. The new immigrants are hard workers from what I see. With that said, most have not assimilated as easily as earlier immigrants. The "English only" attitude is one example. Just because you see two Mexicans speaking Spanish to one another doesn't mean they don't speak English. It just means they use Spanish with one another and speak English when necessary. Why worry about criminals from abroad when we have criminals right here in the USA. That is what we have police for.

They are allowed over the border legally the problem is that they don't take the time to fill out the paperwork and come here legally.

Because they want the money that the VISA costs! It is over $4000 to apply for a Visa, and that is just the temporary card you get to come and work, then every year when it expires you have to keep paying and paying and paying. Its a bunch of political BS!

They don't pay taxes. They cost us free medical and other social benefits. They don't speak English. Their crime rate is way to high
