If I could be President for 1 week...the first thing I would do..is end the war and send everybody back home to their families...I would raise mininum wage to at least 9 dollars an hour...I would build more homeless shelters...I would have free medical for low income families...I could go on...I would love to hear your answers

Revoke all 'free trade' legislation [this alone would increase wages here through normal supply & demand]; End 'lobbying' as we know it; place tariffs on goods made by American companies who manufacture overseas then import those goods to be sold here; end offshore 'scam' corporations used to avoid taxes here. YOUR suggestions are great...I'm hoping mine would put more money here for those purposes in the long run by making govt more responsive to common people rather than just 'big money.'

I would rewrite the tax codes so that those with the most money pay most taxes, stop the war in Irag and the arms race! I would instead spend on healthcare for everyone, public education, raise SSI payments and all benefits for the impoverished, and pass laws protecting the environment and imprison those destroying it. and most important, give speeches about how all Americans will be treated egually.

Hate to break this one to you but you would have very little ability to perform any of the items on your wishlist. A president is not a king, congress enacts laws, the president simply approves or disapproves laws, and he can be overridden. Even more importantly Congress controls the MONEY.

Definitely raise minimum wage. And lower the legal age to work to 13. Kids should be able to earn some money on their own. Not everyone works well with children for babysitting...
Then probably take alot of troops out of wherever they are. Then take everyone out for like a month, see what happens. Let whoever wants to go back to go. They can deal with it how they want...
Then leave David Spade there with a camera and a bunny costume. I want to see him get shot to death...
Make a bunch of kids hot lines for problems. Huge ad campaign. Just to call and talk about whatever. For kids without friends.
Buy MySpace and turn everyone over 19 to the police. Ha ha ha!
Get a good pedicure.

Well considering how long it would take to resituate the power structure so that all the subordinates would capitulate to me, I dont think that I would actually have time to be much more than a placeholder.

I would abolish the Federal Reserve. It is Anti American and kills our economy. I would back the US dollar with Gold and silver and let the economy take on it's own woes rather than try to inflate our way out of economic problems. That alone is priceless!

I would try to find a better looking intern than Monica to not have sex with. If that was the best I could do (way too pug-fugly for me, even for not sex), I would consider my whole Presidency a failure.
