Well, Texas was a whole other country after it won independence from Mexico. So sending it back to mexico would be like sending the original 13 colonies by to the UK.
As for Yankees they are a cursed. They are like hemroids the ones that come down and go back up aren't a problem. The ones that come down and stay are a pain in the butt. You Texicans better look out or you'll wind up like California or worse like Florida, they're totally infested with Yankees.
