WOMD, toxic gases in your sewers, diseases, warfare, your neighbor and people interested in the process behind making bombs. Scared?

I am thinking of naming all three of my grown kids to by my executors and also in charge of the power of attorney. Will the fact that there are three of them cause a problem. Do they all have to agree, or be present in the country in order to facilitate the process of making decisions on my behalf? What would be the "cons" in this decision?

One thing I have seen a lot on here is people from both sides bickering back and forth about "knowing the truth" and "educating ourselves" My question is: How can we possibly do that when we are fed one story by the liberal media and one story by the conservative media? the truth is that we all have to use our own judgement and decide for ourselves, as none of us really know what is going on, unless we work at the White House.......If anyone works at the White House, please tell me what is going on. Thanks.

ONLY the B.B.C. charge up front to watch their programmes, leaving us NO choice BUT to pay IF we have a television.
None payment turns us into criminals, JUSTICE, I think NOT.

Does anyone agree / not agree and why.

First of all is this war really a democrat or republican problem? Cause last I checked we were all still Americans right? And what about those of us with no party affiliation such as myself? Is nothing our problem? Wow what a world that would be. Also, why don't you crybabies on both sides shut up. Your bickering has no agenda aside from trying to tear down the opposite party which is less than appealing to many of us who would like some reasonable and constructive debate.

Now the question. It is not an issue of who got us into Iraq or why we are there. We can all agree Bush really srewed the pooch on that one. However, Democrats were elected in the past election because people wanted a change and wanted to see something happen with that situation. Obviously the dems did not get us into this, not that they tried to stop it, but now they have the power and I would love to know what if anything the plan is, aside from saying its not our fault. Looking for enlightenment!

I asked a question earlier about asking a Mexican immigrant questions. We are having a guest speaker tonight in SOC class and I would like to have some questions ready for him when I get there.

I am NOT looking for questions such as "How many of your family members are you going to bring here?"

For example....

In a recent report from the Majority Staff of the House Committee on Homeland Security, it was found that Federal, State and Local law enforcement report new and ever-increasing levels of ruthlessness and violence associated with criminal organizations, which are spilling across our borders and moving into local communities. As a Mexican Immigrant, how do you feel about the increasing violence that is stemming from your homeland?

I am wondering what people's thought are on why we are sinking so much money into a war that is supposedly fighting terrorism instead of spending the money to secure our boders and harbors and make it more idfficult for terrorists to pull off another attack. Surely nobody on here thinks that we can wipe every person that hates America off the map (Good luck with the North Korean army). Wouldn't all this money be better spent on protecting Americans rather than chasing terrorists across the globe? It seems sort of self-defeating, as for every terrorist we kill, there are two more to take his place.

My husband will be medically discharged from the Navy soon and I want to know what type of employment he should be looking for. He has security clearance and not a lot of sea time. He would prefer to not be employed by the government.
