Greg M is correct on most states differing on what they allow to expunge. There is what is called a first offender status in Georgia. If the courts granted first offender status to that person at the time of the trial, then all the time would have to be served including probation time before being able to go back to the courts/police departments to apply for the records to be expunged. There is normally a fee that goes with expunging your record as well.

You can check with your local police department or probate/magistrate courts on finding out the exact criteria needed for your state. Some police departments do the expunge process, but not all of them.

I assume you mean Expunge. And, if they are felonies, you cannot. They will remain on your criminal background from now on. That is the way it works.

it depends upon your state for expungment..most states will not allow an expungement on perjury, distribution of a cds, robbery, manslaughter( even vehicular), or murder. but time has to pass by...each state is different...for instance in NJ you need to wait 10 years to expunge and it needs to be your only indictible offense(felony) it is 5 years for a disorderly person's offense(misdemeanor).

expunge ? your criminal record will follow you for life. If your crimes were committed as a juvenile, I wouldn't worry too much unless they were serious and you have now become an adult criminal
