I have a lease with an exboyfriend who still lives here. I've got numerous police reports against him and he's been arrested for pulling a gun on me but he ran off and hid the gun somewhere so the charges didn't really go anywhere. Anyways I'm trying to break my lease because of this. I wouldn't be able to afford the place on my own. I was finally able to get a restraining order against him recently. Is there a way I can break the lease and just leave him with the place or legally just get out of it.
Also I have a daughter and our landlords are pricks so it would have to be a legal way out not just them being nice and letting me out of it.

Is there really such a thing? Look at the true cost off cheap illegal labor and you'll see that it's only cheap for the wealthy. In America all the way up into the 70's all of the service jobs and lower paying, unskilled jobs were done by Americans. So you look at what we have now with cheap mexican labor from the south moving north through the country, all the jobs they are doing at a fraction of the cost that Americans formerly worked for. Who does this cheap labor benefit? certainly not the lower and working classes. It benefits the upper classes, the corporations and all business owners looking to make more money. This is not sustainable in the long run. The cost is tremendous in terms of public funds going to support illegals and low income Americans. I just want to know if anyone else out there can see what this is doing.

Your homework: scour the help wanted ads and see how many jobs out there will support an unskilled worker and his family of four in you area?

I'm young and pretty lost about the details of the war. I want to know what is going on but I know that there is so much info involved with understanding the whole conflict. I'm looking for a book that will explain all that in laymans terms. I'd also like for it to be unbiased...I know liberals and conservatives would explain the war in very different ways. So does such book(s) exist?

Good people, I read so much garbage in this forum, it makes my head shake in wonder. Liberals, attack Conservatives, Conservatives attack liberals, Dems vs. Repubs and visa versa. Lots of bashing and very little substance. Sure some are just letting off steam, some just …well being a horse’s rear end. What I don’t understand is where am I in all this, I believe in personal responsibility, I believe in helping people to a degree and everything possible for the ones who can not help themselves (e.g. because of illness, physically challenged that kind of thing) I believe God created all humans equal, and the color of one’s skin is not a factor of intelligence or ability. I believe while it is wrong to cause hurt with intent, it is not wrong to just be plainly blunt. I believe most politicians are just out for them selves, while a few good people in office are unable to make a difference, and that goes for all political parties. I believe Jesus would not by any means approve of the death penalty, nor abortion. I believe that we should work together as a community to meet the needs of the people but also as part of that, each person who is able to contribute in the work force does and is held responsible. I don’t think that it is right to take money out of my pay check and give it to someone just because he/she doesn’t have any or much, unless as stated above. I believe in small government. Individual rights, the USA constitution. I do believe, sometimes war is necessary. I know there are movements in the world we exist in where EVIL wants to kill everyone who does not follow in line with their ideology 100 percent. These people can not be handled with a hug and sit down to hash out the problem; they want to kill the infidel’s period. I believe Bush and his admin, made some bad mistakes, but I do not think he lied, I know Clinton lied, and didn’t do much, having known the Intel, and didn’t do much because he knew that what Bush is going through is the same thing he would have gone through and he didn’t want to take that road. I Believe Liberals have very good intentions and hearts and do Conservatives, but I don’t believe in religion. I am personally a follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ. I don’t totally reject Darwin’s theory; just see it as our creator’s natural way of intelligent design. SO WHO AM I? Am I republican, democrat, independent, liberal??? Given some basics of myself how do you see me??? Just curious really. Just to add, I vote for who ever are best in line with what is best for the country at the time. So yes I have voted for democrats, and conservatives as well as independents.

Today Pinnaclesports shut down business to American customers because of anti-gaming lesislation attatched to a port security bill that was spearheaded by former Senator Bill Frist. Good Riddance to that crook. I can no longer place a sports bet from my computer using this service. Now I am really ticked. Just wanted to vent a little., and say chalk one right lost up to those people who seem to think we are not losing any of them.

What a waste of money? He is such a control freak to do something like that, but he insists it is important, do you see any reasons? And please do not answer about terrorists that is moot.
They are too few and they are individuals, not the entire public.

Yes, The State cops were at my house tonight for questioning over a crime of theft that was commnited up in the U.P of michigan. I was told I was being accused of this crime, when in fact the accuser told me they knew I didn't do it, when the oficers took me out side, they told me to fill out a report, when I said I'd rather have my attorney advise me first, they said I didn't need one for this, as well as they checked my bedroom and searched the house ouse as well, as I was going, as well I wasn't read my mirranda rights, as I have heard it is necessary for them to read me during questiuoning and as well being placed under arrest. What do I do from here? I need all the advice I can get, as I know I didn't do it as I wasn't even around the person who accused me when it came up missing, because their the ones who took me to my bus station to catch the bus home at the time. As well they said it will be sent back up north, then reviewed and then sent to the prosector
