I don't believe "controlled" is the correct word as defense contractors have lost some of their biggest contracts for new weapons systems over the years. The Crusader artillery system and next generation subs are just the latest examples. So it's a case of "win some, lose some" for the military industrial complex. If you said the military industrial complex has had great influence over the years, I could agree with you.

i dont agree with you about 9/11 but we have realized that the gvernment isnt run by us....a shining example...take a look at our anti war/pro peace culture since the 60's....we're not as stupid as you think we are. I do realize it. I have been watching documentaries like prison planet and police state, by Alex Jones lately, which are all well presented and make a lot of sense. But I have always been aware that our government is corrupt. I know this because I live it!!!!!
