Not a doggone thing bubba, that guy was swell, and really had a heart. He was on the real, he and his wife both. I think he was such a good president that he goes un-noticed and good for him for he did not have to catch the flack from all the crap we give out at times. He sat in the Senate for years and was loved by everyone, he liked everyone and was a peacemaker, what a normal person should be even under pressure we should be wise and act more with restraint and I think he proved he was very strong in this way when he pardened Nixon. After all what do we want to do to that nut, Hang em high? For what? Let it go we got the goods on him he lived in shame in his big home in california. His wife was sick and he was nuts. Ford would was ideal then and God all mighty do I wish he had been president after clinton because we sure wouldnt have given the terrorists a reason to blow up the World Trade Center, that was directly connected to the Bush clan and there is no doubt. Ford did a good job.

Gerald Ford was a good President. The only gripe I have of him was that he "Pardoned" Nixon because Nixon gave him the job as Vice-President when Agnew got caught cheating on his taxes. When Ford did that I realized that he did not have very much integrity. But overall he was a good President.

Gerald Ford was a great successor of Nixon and was able to lead the US in times when there was a crisis in leadership.

Sadly I voted for Eugene McCarthy in 1976. I didn't like Carter and had become a little disenchanted with Ford.

It seemed he was a little wishy-washy on some issues I considered important. Well, Carter wasn't wishy-washy, but he was a disaster of major proportions in the White House.

Later I wished I had voted for Ford.
