Is the U.S. going to go broke because of all of the immigrants and illigal immingrants making money here and then sending their U.S. money to other countries rather than keeping it here and because they are giving immigrants and illigal immigrants social security even if they have never paid any in???? This is kinda scary when you think about it.

He got fired from work because he had his backpack in his friend's locker and his friend stole a video camera. They took them (both) to the police station but my boyfriend was clear. He got released from the police w/ out filing anything but he got fired from work just because they are assuming he took it too, now he doesnt have a job and they may put that on his records even though the police didnt file anything against him. The letter said "you substracted and it was on your posesion" and that he confirmed he did it too. But in reality he didnt say he did because he didnt do it. What can he do about it???

Only serious answers please this is something really important for us

Thanks for your help!!!

I heard this thing about how Gerry Adams almost released a bunch of documents that had the potential of starting another war, and how the cease fire in '98 was just temporary, and that the IRA never gave up all of their weapons. Is it possible tht another uprising could start?

My friend is on a lease with her (now) ex-boyfriend in a one bedroom apartment in Florida. He has not been contributing to the bills (rent, electric, etc.) for at least two months. Now since they've broken up, he won't leave and harasses her constantly -- calling at least 20 times a day. Needless to say, she's had to stay with whichever friend has an empty couch. So, she's paying for him to live there while she had to bum it at someone elses. He's said he would leave and then took it back. He's always there "waiting for her". We're a little freaked out! Is there anything she can do to get him out of her life? We've been racking our brains.

I am thinking about adoption from the department of social services(dss). can anybody give an ideal of what the procedure details as far as what they look for in a cori and background check. this something that i really want to do i been thinking about this for about three years and i'm ready to go forward with it, I love children and I think their is a child out their for me to take care of. I have three children of my own but, they are all grown youngest 21 the oldest 25. And I have three grandchildren residing in Atlanta just went there a month ago. I just want to know is this a hard procedure to go threw with. My son has been into trouble(21) before and recently but, never been convicted of anything just had to pay fines for auto violation, driving without a license(suspended) I dont' know if this would get in the way when they do a cori check on him, so any suggesting greatly appreciated.

It seems that the American public are unwilling to accept high military casualty levels in foreign wars.

This wasn't always true - in World War II, the American people had no problem with 407,000 American soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines and coast guardsmen dying in combat.

In the Korean War, the American public accepted the deaths of 33,000 US military personnel.

Yet today, the public finds intolerable the deaths of 2,978 American military personnel in Iraq.

Why has the attitude of the US civilian population towards American overseas war deaths changed so drastically?

Israel News Agency

Jerusalem----April 2.....The American Jewish Congress today congratulated Paul Wolfowitz on his election as the president of the World Bank.

In Israel, The Jerusalem Post had selected Paul Wolfowitz as its Man of the Year for 2002. The Post stated: "On September 15, 2001, at a meeting in Camp David, Wolfowitz advised President George W. Bush to skip Kabul and train American guns on Baghdad. In March 2003, he got his wish. In the process, Wolfowitz became the most influential US deputy defense secretary ever - can you so much as name anyone else who held the post?"

"When President Bush says, "America will not permit the world's most dangerous regimes to threaten us with the world's most destructive weapons" -- that's Wolfowitz talking. When the president calls for "a new Arab charter that champions internal reform, greater political participation, economic openness and free trade" -- that's Wolfowitz's talking, too. But perhaps the greatest measure of Wolfowitz's influence is that Colin Powell now waxes rhapsodic about an Iraq "on the road to democratic self-government." This from the man who, after the first Gulf War, mocked: "Where's Iraq's Thomas Jefferson?" To our ears, the sudden stress on Mideast democratization is "transformative," to use the Pentagon jargon. Israel has long waited for an administration that understands that the principal problem in the Middle East is not the unsettled status of our borders. It is the unsettling nature of Arab regimes -- .."

It wasn't the New York Post

When she comes to Canada for a visit will she require different paperwork just to return to the States after her visit. I went to the US customs and immigration website to try and get an answer but I could'nt find much assistance there.
