Is it possible for the Irish Republican Army to start again?

I heard this thing about how Gerry Adams almost released a bunch of documents that had the potential of starting another war, and how the cease fire in '98 was just temporary, and that the IRA never gave up all of their weapons. Is it possible tht another uprising could start?

Of course the IRA could restart the war.

They still have their fundraising network among Irish immigrants and Irish Americans in New York City, Boston, Chicago and other major Irish American population centers.

They also still have their ties with Irish American-run New York City construction unions like Laborers local 147 and Carpenters local 608. Those unions can be a source of money and have ties to American organized crime, which can get weapons for the IRA.

Also, Laborers local 147 is a tunnel workers union - their members have access to explosives on the job.

The IRA could restart their military arm on very short notice if they needed to.

sorry NEVER believed that they had stopped at least not for good, they have run THAT bs out wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many times in my life time to actually believe it period, buried FAR to many of my friends as well.

As for not handing in the guns NO ffffffffffffing idiot but the government thought they had anyways....................and failing that they are STILL getting funding from the USA [you know the place that tough on TERRORISTS] and have been regardless of the cease fire etc....................
