When my mother was filling out the Canadian census, she wrote down that I have asthma. I guess they assumed that, since I still live at home, and was unemployed at the time, I am disabled. They keep phoning me, asking me to do a survey about my disabilities. I've told them numerous times that I am not disabled, and that I'd like them to stop phoning me, but they won't leave me alone. They phone me like five times a day, and I usually don't answer the phone, but my younger brothers do, even though I've told them not to.

Is there a way to get them to stop phoning me?

I was traveling with my ex-boyfriend, when he abused me physically for about the 7th time. I almost died, and I called police, he was arrested and sentenced a few months later. He left to go back to the state where we lived and I chose not to go back to him. However, I did not have a car, or many necessities, including a place to live. I am also disabled and not able to work. I stayed in Colorado with a friend, the state assisted with living fee but they do not assist in other ways, except for the counseling I needed after the abuse.

Now I am back close to my mom, who is in bad health, and I had to find a way to pay for every financial area, that a person must, to get a place to live and utilities. I am not able to pay my electric bill, that was due the 10th of December, but did get extension until December 28th. The amount due is $128.00 and I do not have it and no it is not because of Christmas shopping, ect. I do not know where or how to get help.

In a recent news article, President Bush made the following remarks concerning the escalation the numbers of troops to be sent in the Iraq War:

["Bush was unwavering about U.S. goals for Iraq.

"Victory in Iraq is achievable," he said. "It hadn't happened nearly as quickly as I hoped it would have. ...

"But I also don't believe most Americans want us just to get out now," the president said. "A lot of Americans understand the consequences of defeat. Retreat would embolden radicals. It would hurt the credibility of the United States." ]
