Afghanistan was raided for the war on terror. Iraq was invaded because it announced that it was going to cash in all the US greenbacks it had for Eurodollars. And believe me when I say that this would have undervalued the US dollar by 40%. Sort of like cashing in stocks to a company. We gave Saddam BILLIONS in the 80s.

The Iraqi infrastructure is still so heavily damaged oil is pumping at less than half it's capacity. We didn't go to war for oil. We went to get the bogeyman, Saddam Hussein. He was an acceptable substitute in the eyes of GWB for our only real enemy, Al Quada and Osama bin laden. We couldn't get them, but Iraq was there for the taking.

Like I said before. We are not in this for OIL! We are in this for revenge! If you don't beleive me then I suggest and refer everyone to the below websites for more information. I for one profundly remember om September27,2002 George W saying "After all they tried to kill my dad" and it has stuck in my mind ever since. It still haunts me as I think about all of those who have given their lives so far in this "revenge" war.

Hey, when did the terrorists declare everything to stop? Sorry, I missed it.
Companies, and foreign countries buy the oil in bulk on the open market. They have their own resources, and mostly by ship, some by pipeline.
GOD bless us one and all, always!

Your premise is incorrect. We are in a religious war in which the Jihadist are trying to disrupt order on this planet and in the resulting chaos impose Islam on the survivors.

Ultimately, they want a pipeline. We just have to liberate some more souls in a couple more countries in the region first.
