i was in a vehicle with a friend and was hit by another car it hurt me in the wreck (but didnt do much to the car) i was thrown into the dash causing whiplash. the ambulance had to take me to the E.R and i was released and has to attend physical therapy for a couple of weeks bc of the knots in my back and all that and i had a total of $3,600 in medical bills. my attorney started working on my case back in january when it happend. the other car was a rental car so he had to sue the rental insurance. im still waiting for my settlement money. the attorney said the insurance place has an offer of $5,000. should this be the appropriate amount or should i be entitled to more? i miss lots of school due to this and lost my credits so i cant graduate with the rest of the class. is this a fair amount?

I am a Canadian who is also a legal permanent resident in the US and my wife is a Taiwanese. We are currently living in Vancouver Canada. We got a job offer to Seattle and we are planning to move down there in 2 months. We have booked an appointment with the US Embassy in Vancouver early next month hoping to get a US visitor's visa for my wife so that we can start looking for housing, but according to my lawyer, it's almost impossible for her to get a visa and enter the US because she's married to a legal permanent resident of the US. What should we do? Who can help us?? If you have any information, please let us know.

I bought some more clothes at Pasquesi's auto repair, and they've simply gone too far. Not only are there stains on my clothes, but there are biased tortellini stains. Another stain is holographic and I've given up on it. I want to file a lawsuit against Pasquesi's and make them paint over the stains with gold adhesive. Ive already contacted a neighbor of my mine who happens to be Boo Radley, and he says I should press charges for full custody. What should I do?

At the outbreak of the Civil War, the US had an Army, but it was out west killing Indians. Whole new armies were created to fight the South, staffed with volunteers who joined just to fight the South. Could we do that now? Maybe someone wouldn't normally join the service, but wants revenge for 9/11; or someone would fight in Afghanistan, but not Iraq. Your thoughts and comments?

Allow me to give a brief translation:

"This guide is meant to provide some important tips that may be useful when making the tough decision of working ourside your country.
You would need your Mexican passport, and a visa, which you would need prior to going to that country's consulate.
We see many cases, where Mexicans try to cross the border w/o documentation, accross high-risk zones and are very dangerous, expecially through deserts and rivers with strong currents.
With this guide you can also find out about basic questions you may have about legal consequences if you enter into the US without proper documentation and your rights.
Please take into account that there are always legal ways to enter into the US.
In any case, remember that Mexico has 45 consulates in that country and their information is provided in this guide. Identify your local consulate.

there were 4 of us total in the car. we got pulled over on thanksgiving weekend late at night when all the cops were out looking for troublemakers cop pulled us over saying we ran a red light, which we did not. 4 people in the car and we all KNOW my friend didn't run it. my friend's 33 and has a clean driving record. cops put her though all the sobriety tests which she passed, and left her with the ticket for over 200+ dollars. my friend pled not guilty in court so she has to come back again with witnesses. the cop will be there.

what do we need to do to make sure my friend doesn't have to pay the ticket or ruin her clean driving record?

i've heard to go to a bank and get an affidavit??? is this true?? what else can we do to ensure she won't have to pay for something that did not happen.

they are racist? IT has nothing to do with being a racist. My best friend growing up was Cuban, and his family did it legal, so why can't others do the same. It's about principals and morals, of which most illegals have none, not about rasism.

More specifically, I'm wondering what sort of questions they ask during the interview process. Also, I understand that they conduct a real thorough back-round check. I have nothing to hide, but am merely wondering how long this will take before they get back to me? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

MLK, Jr. wanted everyone in America to be colorblind. Remember this?

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will NOT BE JUDGED BY THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN but by the content of their character.

I completely believe that black people should have all the rights and privileges of everyone else, and that racism is a thing of the past, but isn't this being just as racist? I think white people would have a much easier time of forgetting their racism if they weren't constantly reminded of how blacks get some breaks that they don't.
