I agree with you 100%. Of course the Dems are going to come up with all kinds of reasons why he sucks. None of which really matter. All they see is what is presented on their liberal media outlets. They really just believe whatever Katie Couric and Wolf Blitzer tell them, just like robots.

Mmmmmm... have you been drinking again? I guess I could have asked the same of George Bush when he decided to attack Iraq.

So George Bush is a good president because he is winning an illegal war. Last time I looked the US were getting their asses kicked. You can't win the type of war being waged in Iraq.

And is he a good President for starting a war just to keep gas prices down? Is it worth the sacrafice of nearly 3000 Americans andover 10,000 injured Americans not to mention between 100,000 - 600,000 Iraqis - just to keep gas prices low. At least you kind of admit that the war was about oil prices. Saddam began selling oil in Euros which made oil more expensive in the US. Thus the only way the US could try to sort out the problem was by waging war!!!

You are a silly little girl who needs to educate yourself.

"Do you think President Bush is a good president?"

No. According to many polls he's well in the running for worst US President ever.

"i think he is a fantastic president he just has bad publicity"

Yeah like Abu Ghraib, the Iraqi insurgency, playing guitar while New Orleans drowned, wondering what to do during 9/11, looking like a remote controlled idiot during the 2004 Presidential campaign, plus those persistent rumours that he hit the bottle about a year ago...

"well we are winning the war on iraq"

You are so wrong here. Read a proper newspaper, not USA Today.

"in london gas prices are 10 pounds and 10 pounds is equivalent to 20 dollars"

Totally wrong; in the UK gas is generallly about 98p per litre (0.264 gallons) which works out at roughly $7.50 per gallon depending on which part of the UK you are in. I don't live in London but I gather gas is about the same price there.

I don't mean to be nasty but your question shows you are very ill-informed. Please; broaden your horizons.

You must be one of the few people anywhere in the world that think America is winning the war in Iraq - not even Donald Rumsfeld believed that if his leaked memo is to be believed! I suggest you read summaries of the report of the Iraq Study Group.

I believe the unemployment rate rose in the last figures, but is still higher than when Bill Clinton left office.

Gas prices as you call them are higher in the UK because we pay more tax on gas than you do in the US. They have always been lower than in the UK no matter who was the President; and it should be remembered that gas prices in the US were higher earlier this year than ever before.

No Bush is not a good President, and not many Americans believe he is either.

There are many things to consider here. Let's look at the few things you mentioned first.

Gas prices are NOT low. Not even close. Gas prices were only just over $1 per gallon when Bush took over office. Prior to that, in many places in the U.S., you could find gas as low as 80 cents per gallon in 1998. Oil was trading for around $18 per barrel.

Since then, gas has gone up and over $3 per gallon in most of the country. It is still in the mid to high $2 range (currently $2.55 where I live). Oil is trading at over $60 per barrel (that's more than triple for the math challenged).

Unemployment has nothing to do with the president, much like availability of jobs has nothing to do with the president. When they say "I created 300,000 new job last year", they are spinning the facts. The president doesn't even manage fiscal policy, so adjusting various interest rates to tweak the economny doesn't even come from him. That comes from the Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Jobs are created or lost based on the economy, and usually based on the rates that companies have to pay interest on their loans. Rates go up, companies pay more interest, jobs are lost. Rates go down, companies have more money in their pockets, people get hired.

We are not "winning the war in Iraq" any more than we "won the war in Vietnam". This isn't a war that can be "won", actually. If you mean that Iraq is closer to being a democracy than before we invaded, that is debatable. We will only have "won" once our troops are home and not dying for the Iraqi people. Incidentally, how much have the Iraqi people paid in taxes to support the salaries of our military personnel? Oh, that's right, they don't. It is the money from OUR taxes taken out of OUR salaries that pay for our troops. People forget that very easily and conveniently.

Bush is not a good president. He's not even average. He has made terrible decisions regarding the use of our military. He has done nothing to improve his own image in front of his own citizens. He didn't definitely win either election, instead relying on recounts and/or threats of recount. With approval ratings as low as they are, how can anyone think he's doing a good job? (And yes, I'm aware that polls are skewed & biased, but even the conservative, Republican polls have him in the 35% range.)

This President Bush has violated several international laws and many domestic laws. He cannot be considered good in any definition of the word. Good people do not break laws especially when they are in positions or power. In many countries he would have been thrown out of office and criminally charged. He had nothing to do with gas prices they are set by the oil speculators. From what I see, and read no one except the very few who a loyal to him and defend whatever he says and does think the war is going well.

I think Bush is a c*nt, but never mind that.

Just want to correct your nonsense about "gas" prices in London.

In fact petrol is about £4 a gallon - that's 8 of your american dollars.

If you want people to take you seriously, check your facts!

And if all you're interested in is cheap "gas" prices then you have a very tenuous grasp of economics and politics.

I'm not even going to start on you lot "winning" the war in Iraq as I would wet my pants laughing if I did.

May 24th, 2064 - A woman in North Carolina named her new born son George today. This is the first time the name has been given to a child since the removal and imprisonment of George W. Bush in 2007. She was pelted with rotten fruit and vegtables as she left the hospital.
Bush is the worst thing to happen to the White House since the Brittish burned it down in thw war of 1812.

He's a moron, everybody thinks he's a moron. Since he became president 5 million people have slipped below the poverty line. 33 million people in the us are in poverty. The murder rate in Washington is 43 per 100,000 in London it's just 2. You are 7 times more likely to be murdered in the Us and 60 times more likely to be shot. 85% of the worlds serial killers are American. But if gas prices are what worries the people of the US then all that doesn't matter. He can't even pronounce half the words in his speaches. He's a mumbling idiot. I laughed so much at the post above-nukeyoueler!! or what ever it was. At least British people can see the faults of our own country and government. I do love Americans but you are just too patriotic = )

He has some good qualities but I still don't understand how anyone thinks going into Iraq was a good idea. On what basis was it a good idea at all??? I think this blunder badly outweighs any of his positives and thus he is a terrible president. I am no lefty, and I despise pretty much the whole democratic party, but I am also not a sheep that just thinks whatever the president of my party does is great.

£10 for petrol? Are you insane? Where did you get that ridiculous figure?
If you had bothered to check a fact, you would have found several websites on Google that offer todays petrol prices, in London.
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=petrol+prices+%2B+london&btnG=Google+Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB

http://www.whatprice.co.uk/car/petrol-prices/London.html

Theres a link since you couldn't be bothered to find it yourself.

And do we get outr petrol from a different source from the States? How come the states gets very cheap petrol and we don't since we are baling you out over in Iraq?

Do you not think that 650,000 dead civilians is a high privce to pay for cheap petrol?
