Allow me to give a brief translation:
"This guide is meant to provide some important tips that may be useful when making the tough decision of working ourside your country.
You would need your Mexican passport, and a visa, which you would need prior to going to that country's consulate.
We see many cases, where Mexicans try to cross the border w/o documentation, accross high-risk zones and are very dangerous, expecially through deserts and rivers with strong currents.
With this guide you can also find out about basic questions you may have about legal consequences if you enter into the US without proper documentation and your rights.
Please take into account that there are always legal ways to enter into the US.
In any case, remember that Mexico has 45 consulates in that country and their information is provided in this guide. Identify your local consulate.

The dangers of crossing high risk zones
crossing a river may be very risky, expecially if done alone and at night, with heavy clothing it is dificult to swim or float.
If crossing by desert, it is important to choose a time when the heat is not as intense. Highways and populated areas are far from the desert and you cannot carry water and food for such a long time and you may get lost. Water is needed to rehydrate you, water with salt keeps your body hydrated longer, but may make you feel thirstier.
Symptoms of dehydration are:
No or very little sweating
Extreme dryness of the eyes and mouth
Headache
Dificulties in walking and reasoning
Hallucinations
If you get lost in the desert, follow light or sounds from trains.
Take caution with coyotes

Beware of coyotes, they can trick you into thinking that you can cross mountains or deserts in hours. That is not true. You are risking your life by crossing through deserts, rivers, canals, or railroads! This has killed hundreds of people!
If you choose a coyote to cross the border, be aware of these precautions:
Dont lose sight of him, he is the only person that knows where he is going, and the only one that can get you out of that place. Do not trust anyone that says they can cross you if you drive a vehicle for them or take a package for them. Many times those packages contain drugs or other prohibited substances and can get you put in prison. If you take other people into the country, you can be considered a coyote and arrested for trafficking people or stealing vehicles. Never give your child to someone that claims they will cross them.
Dont use fake papers or lie about your nationality
if you attempt to use fake papers, take into account the following:

If you are detained:
Do not resist arrest
Dont fight or insult officers
Dont throw things at officers or their vehicles this can be considered as provoking them.
If they feel threatened, they will use extreme force to detain you.
slowly raise your hands to show that you are not armed.
Do not hold onto anything that could be considered as a weapon. (provides examples)
Do not run or try to escape

It is better to be detained and returned to Mexico than to get lost in the desert.
If you are Detained, you have rights.

To not claim guilt prior to consulting with your attorney.
It is important to know your laws of the state in America that you work or live in, since they are different in each area.
Take into account the following information:

Legal residents may be deported once caught drunk driving more than 2 times.
Dont drive without a drivers license
Respect signs and wear a seat belt
Dont drive without insurance
Dont drive someones car that you dont know

If you are stopped by an officer for a traffice violation, put your hands on the steering wheel and do not leave the vehicle until advised by the officer.
Do not try to draw attention to yourself
The best idea is not to begin construction or alter your home
Do not bother neighbors by having noisy parties, the police can be called and you may be arrested
Stay out of fights, in a bar scene you could be arrested even if you are innocent.

Do not cause domestic violence.
This can include yelling, or mistreating others, not just hitting.
If you are acused of domestic violence you can be arrested and child protection services can remove your children. It is better to not have firearms.
understand that many Mexicans have gone to jail for this.
If the police comes into your home do not resist.
ask for a warrant
It is best to cooperate and contact your consulate.
There are 45 Mexican consulate locations
Remember that you have the right to contact them (gives addresses and #'s or consulates in the US)
This protection guide does not promote the crossing of Mexicans illegally into the US, the object is to explain the risks involved and to explain your migratory rights regardless of legal status.

I GUESS THAT I WAS NAIVE TO THINK THAT IF I TRANSLATED IT THAT YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS MEANT TO HELP PEOPLE, BUT TO GET THEM TO RESPECT AMERICAN LAWS. YOU JUST ALL WANT TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS A "BIG FU TO THE US" WHICH IT IS NOT, I OBVIOUSLY CANNOT CHANGE THE MINDS OF BIGOTS WITH FACTS.

well i never seen the book ever , but as far as i know the book main objective is not to encourage anyone to cross the border but to alert them of the dangerous it is doing so . it also mentions how important is to be a good person in the USA and encourages everyone to fallow the law even when they crossed the border with out documents .
the book as far as i know only gives good advices and prevents the deaths of many , i am sure than American do not want the death of anyone that way ( the large majority of Americans which are not racist ) and im sure than if they found someone who was asking for help and was crossing the border illegally most would help that person and would not report him .

This is the most important part of the little booklet.
Its the w/o/with out papers, its self explanatory ,it simply put says do anything you want and pay no attention to the US laws

It still amounts to 'how to jump the border fence and get away with it'. If the book had said 'do NOT attempt to cross the US/Mexico border except at official crossing points....', then it'd be a different issue. Since that's not in their comic book, and there's this reference to consulates or whatever, to me that says it's basically implied if not stated that they expect people to be crossing illegally. Illegal immigration is a HUGE moneymaker for Mexico, and until they turn off the 'magnet', it'll continue to be one. I'd like to see more US companies setting up shop IN Mexico, do things the right way, providing jobs and producing products in Mexico, and not just US companies, either. To truly catch the globalization wave, Mexico's gotta evolve, to the point that their local economy is strong enough to sustain their own people, that means they need to start more of their own businesses, too, do more to stop crime, build their own infrastructure etc. Some of that is already happening...

But that doesn't make as much controversy as one that tells Mexicans to illegally cross and kill goats now does it? The truth is not something most people are after.

And can you translate the part above the pictures showing people filling water jugs and the one at the end with the discussion of domestic disputes?
And the bit about 'your rights if you illegally cross' IS help to those crossing. It doesn't just say 'crossing is death, don't do it'.
That would have taken a lot less paper.

thanks, I can puzzle out some of it, but can't read fluently. It tells them how to do it if they are going to. I think that is what we are saying. We think a real 'don't' wouldn't include the 'how to' information.

The question is,,,, What is our US government is doing to stop, complain and do something with this situation. I don't blame the Mexican government because of their inept and corrupted attitude, they don't know how to help their citizens, rather send them to the USA with the blessing of the US government. We have to blame the US government for not doing nothing in order to stop the invasions of these people. We all should be ashamed of our government, Republicans or Democrats, there is no different. Good luck.

I just wished they wouldn't come here illegally because I do not want my people's lives to be in danger. If they come Legally, then they wouldn't face such a dangerous journey.

Oh- so it is not such a harmless litle piece of TP. Why didn't they just print it in black and white and put it on a roll?
Very quaint -indeed, maybe this explains why the illegal aliens have no respect for America's laws- their government doesn't either.

It certainly not telling them to stay in their home land and make it a better place is it? It's telling them to go to American work and send money back into their economy ( read between the lines)
Why are you so un-American?

A real "don't do it" would not have a guide on how to do it and what to do if you are caught. This guide is nothing more than a big FU to the US.
