can anyone tell me how can a charity shop put signs up saying, "PLEASE DO NOT HAGGLE" I thought that most if not all the stuff was donated to charity, And at least the offer to pay a reasonable price was ok.
It cost them nothing, So whatever you pay is all profit !!!!!

On July 6, 1997, young Mary Mahoney, a former White House intern, who was about to go public with sexual assault/rape charges against Bill Clinton, was shot to death in a professional hit at the Georgetown Starbucks coffee shop. She took 5 shots including a shot to the back of the head, execution style. Later as a message to Monica, Bill Clinton gave Lewinsky a Starbucks coffee mug.

And for anyone who tries to tell me that this has nothing to do with current events, just remember who is considering running for president in 2008.

ok, I'm only 14 but I'm sure I want to go into the coast guard when I'm 17. I was woundering what I could do now that would help prepare me to get into the CG. Do they teach you all you need to know in training? If I make my recruiter (in a few years) put where I want to be stationed in the contract, will I be promised that that station?

Any helpful information will be appreciated! Thanks

On BBC2 Newsnight programme they have just asked this same question. Some Immigrants said they were entitled under Human Rights to demand a translater and we the tax payers should foot the bill. Others had been here 25 years and have no intention of learning English our Culture or Traditions. So on top of the illegal Immigrants and other monies that are needed to keep these people here how much is it really costing us. Just for the Health Service they were talking something like £400 million......A Council paid £20,000 per print for one page in it's newsletter to be translated....... the mind boggles is it any wonder the country has no money for the real things like Police, Hospitals, Schools, etc.

If Mitt Romney were to win the GOP nomination for Presidential candidate, could you vote for him? Would his Mormon background discourage you from voting for him, encourage you to vote for him, or have no effect on your decision? Personally, I wouldn't vote for any of the Republican candidates currently vying for position to make a run at the nomination. Actually, it would take a miracle from a god in which I don't believe for me to vote for a Republican for president at all. Just curious of the influence of Mormonism on the general populace.

A friend of mine has traveled back and forth between Mexico and the US in order to help take care of her family. Two weeks ago she was detained by US immigration authorities and told that she is crossing the border too much. They took her passport and said that she may not have it back or get a new one for five years. She is stuck now in Juarez. Is there any way to help her get back to her family in the US?

I recently read a question about a 15 year who got smacked by her uncle. Does yahoo have anyway to report this not as spam, but as possible child abuse? This wasn't the first question that had someone being hurt in their question. Everyone else in the country, including doctors and social workers are required to report child and sexual abuse. Can Yahoo do anything about reporting this? If so, how do you notify the correct people at yahoo where you are not just having people skim a complaint breeze over it as just another number? Not doggin on yahoo, just wondering about children.
