I looked up some stuff on the driver resources website it says here

"You may not apply for or keep a driver’s permit or license if you withdraw from school (if you are under age 18), have a total of 10 unexcused absences or have any conduct infractions."

would shoplifting be defined as a conduct infraction???

I copied this segment from the Georgia Dept of Driver services website. It did not say teens would lose their licence for shoplifting. It says teen drivers (under 18) can't have excessive points. I believe you are ok for driving. But I can't guess what the penalty is if Target prosecutes you. Maybe probation if a first offense.

STEP THREE - A FULL LICENSE (Class C) driver's license is granted to drivers ages 18 years of age and older who hold the class D license and have incurred no major traffic convictions during the previous 12 months. The following violations must not occur during this period:

DUI
Eluding a police officer
Drag racing
Reckless driving
Hit and run
Any violation that assesses four or more points on the driver's license
** Drivers under the age of 18 years in a 12-month license suspension period must not incur a violation point count over four points.

I wish the gurus deal with you very harshly. It will do you well to fear. This is whatever you certainly not must have performed. Even in case your buddy used to be the only stealing - you knew what used to be occurring - so you're responsible. Don't you could have mothers and fathers? Why don't seem to be they serving to you with this? Depending on what your mothers and fathers do - you would pass to juvenile detention, otherwise you would get probation and group provider. Talk on your mothers and fathers. You could be nice off consulting a attorney - it continuously appears larger to the courtroom while you spend a few cash on a attorney. It makes it appear such as you care ample to restrict incarceration.

What "should" happen is you should go to jail. What will happen is you will probably get let off with a warning or probation. Why would you steal $65 worth of crap anyways? Do you not have the means to make money for yourself?
