My mother was granted a tourist visa and after a short visit has just left the U.S. to go back to the Philippines.
I would like to sponsor my mother for a permanent residency in the U.S.
My mother is 65 years old and would like to spend more time with my family.
Please advise.

Everyone knows that statistics are a powerful persuasion technique. I am writing a paper that would benefit from a statistic of the total number of officials who run for office every two years. The closest I have come to a number is in this quote by former RNC chairman Mehlman: They will vote for 435 Congressmen … 33 Senators … 36 governors … and thousands of state and local offices. Does anyone know how many state and local offices exist in the United States? I will be VERY thankful if anyone can come up with this figure

For a better health reform, communism may be better for our society as a whole, but for free enterprise, a democracy is better (in my opinion). What's your opinion and why? If you like my question, give me a thumbs up and let me know. Thanks.

I live in Florida, here there is no one keeping watch on the judges, so they basically get away with what they want. Some of them have gotten to where they know they can do anything and there is nothing you can do about it. They definately need a Judecial Review Board or something like that so the judges remember they aren't God's. What's it like in your state? do judges have people watching over them? If not, if there was a petition going around asking for a law that judges be governed, would you sign it? What state? I definately would, AM!!!

since retaining academic material is key to passing exams, how come textbook publishers/authors don't come up with books that contain the information but also present it in a way that is easy to remember e.g. mnemonics, humorous images etc.

Just to let all of you know, that if you get pulled over for drinking and driving and it is your first DUI, the following 3 things will happen.

1. $2000.00 Fine
2. 6 Months in jail
3. Drivers license suspended for 1 year

So all of you take care out there

And once again all three of these things will happen, not just one from the list.
