Just to let all of you know, that if you get pulled over for drinking and driving and it is your first DUI, the following 3 things will happen.
1. $2000.00 Fine
2. 6 Months in jail
3. Drivers license suspended for 1 year
So all of you take care out there
And once again all three of these things will happen, not just one from the list.

as an officer i am used to ******* all the time. from 4am to 12pm i deal with them. but it is every day at 4-5 am that i and others deal with the after math of people who thought it was smart to drink and drive.

Only if you don't have a decent attorney. Any lawyer worth his shingle on the wall can get that first one reduced to reckless driving. You will most likely have to take the MADD class, pay about a $200 fine, and if you do get the license suspension, you can get a hardship license for work. Happy Holidays...

Thank you for the information. Do not pay attention to some of these people they are the ones that will be paying the fines and meeting bubba in jail. It is not responsible to drink and drive you are not only endangering your life but other people also.

Pay for a real lawyer instead of a state appointed one and you will be off quicker than you can put away another 2 long island ice teas.

Your information is not correct. I have a girlfriend who got a DUI last year. She did not go to jail for six months and she is able to drive. I can appreciate you reminding people not to drive drunk.
