Just first off plan a nice quite evening at home just the two of you because first off he will be tired after all it is a bumpy 26 hour ride. Second take a steamy hot shower together and just sit on the couch or lay in bed holding on to each other and find out what he wants to do for the two weeks he is home. I can tell you for sure there will be a lot of sleeping and he will probabley wake up in the middle of the night sweating and shakeing depending on where he was located if he wakes up get up and do NOT just wrap your arms around him let him know you are there first or else it could be tragic. Third make him some home made breakfast in the morning what ever he likes and also he will probably wake up really early or stay up really late depending on his check times if he had night duty first few days will be spent sleeping during the day and staying up all night try to be up when he is. After a couple days of Resting he will want to go out and see his friends and family depending on previous family relationship before deployment and remember two weeks is only 14 days, 336 hours, 20,160 minutes not very long and also try to spend a much time as possiable just you and him. Good luck.

I'm really happy for you and your hubby!! :-) I would make sure to cook alot of his favorite foods while he can get some good food, lol.. dress and wear your hair the special ways that he likes it while he's home, they really do love that..and not just for the obvious reasons but because it shows them we know what they like and we care(insider info from my Bf hee hee) also ... i would let him sort of control the pace....he will be tired and stressed esp. at first and he may want to keep it pretty low key the whole time, but then he may want just non stop action after he gets a lil rest...just think of the things that he enjoys around the house and start there, then work in a dinner or two out at couple of favorite restaurants and so on...but most importantly...don't forget to just be yourself..the girl that he loves! Relax....so that he can relax , and you will both have a spectacular time together because it is your priceless time together! :-)

A nice home cooked meal and a lot of quiet time to adjust. A lot of time in his own bed.

Chances are coming back to regular life is going to feel overwhelming and weird, no matter how happy he is to be home--especially knowing he's going to be ripped right back out from it!

Friends and family might want to throw parties and take him all over town to enjoy everything he's been missing, but it's a good idea to check in with him and make sure he's up for it.

Ask him what he's been craving for and make sure it happens!

Congrat!! Victoria Secret shopping would be a start. Home cooked meal after all it's been just military food. Make sure it's his favorite. Then spend as much time as you can doing things you both enjoy two weeks flys by.

Hunny, glad to hear your honey is coming home safe and sound. Probably the thing he wants most is to be with his loving family. God bless you both.
